The place has a great ambience. I liked the decoration and overall wooden/ pub like theme. The staff is kind and attentive. The menus offer many tipical dishes from the country. The food is great. The place overall is clean , welcoming and offers at specific times life music.

This is traditional Czech restaurant close to the metro and tram station in a calm street.
Place is nice and atosphere is really nice. You can smoke Iqos inside so that is a plus.
Staff is nice and friendly and really attentative and they make sure your glass is never empty.
Food was delicious and prices are really affordable.
Nicely spent evening and dinner.

Beautiful interior with a wonderful selection of traditional food. This was our first stop on our visit to Prague and the experience did not disappoint. Great food, great prices, great service. It was truly hard to pick from all the wonderful looking options.

We had a number of different dishes here that we shared in our group of four. Everything was delicious. The pork knuckle and goulash were particularly good. If you order the tartar, beware that the "only two slices" of bread are huge!

I came to this place twice on a 4 day trip to prague. Very authentic - not a tourist in sight (apart from me- SORRY!) very friendly and excellent pork dumplings and beers. Live music on the Friday I was there. Thanks! X

Czech cuisine as you imagine that! Good beer, big meals and nice atmosphere. I would like to recommend chicken wings.

Best fried cheese in this part of town! The sauce is amazing, the complementary onions are a great innovation... love it! Come visit if you're into smazak 🚀✨

I come here often for lunches. Their lunch menu is very good, with wide selection of "no-nonsense" traditional Czech food with big portions and very good prices. For me a bit unfortunate their beer partner is Staropramen (just a matter of personal taste, the wheat non-filtered one is actually quite good). Friendly service and nice, cozy interior. You can pay with cash, cards, meal vouchers or even Ticket restaurant cards here.

Est. 1898 is the oldest Prague 5 pub and restaurant with Pilsner Urquel beer.
Quality drinks and food and every Friday live music.

Great spot for a perfectly chilled czech Staropramen beer. Usually not so loud or crowded, good for sitting talking drinking working. And perfect kitchen, nice simple food includin czech classics and I love the jalapeno bites!

Recommending! We just had starter and burger and everything was perfect. Place is ok if you do not look for some superb modern pub, this was exactly what we were looking for. Meal was tasty, beer as well. Price normal. Waiter was friendly. If anybody ask I highly recommend.
PS. I forgot my wallet there and waiter jump off the bar to street to return it. Big +

Fantastic juicy and spicy pork

Excellent place for group gatherings. Good beer. Good food. Traditional Czech design. Sometimes there is live music playing.

My girlfriend and I lived a two minute walk alway from this pub for two months and ate there at least once a week. We never tired of their delicious food, refreshing ciders, and cheerful service. I hope to return soon.
