I always visit here when I’m in Prague. It is beautifully built inside and has great food and service! I can recommend any item from the menu and it is great! Never had a bad meal here! I would also say for the atmosphere and the quality the prices are very fair and the portion sizes are also great! One example of exceptional service this trip was I ran out of sauce in my lamb shank and the server got me more sauce without asking! This is worth mentioning and an example of excellent service and why I would keep coming back!

What can I say, the restaurant is just beautiful, the service was great, everything was served pretty fast and we really enjoyed our dinner. Thanks to our waiter Robert who took care of us.

I had a Caesar salad, dressing was great and the chicken was prepared well.

Also we had a Czech sparking wine and it was pretty good, recommend.

Me and my friends arrived at around 11am, and the cafe was pretty packed already. We were told we will have to wait till 2pm if we want a table for 5, but luckily if we split up to two groups of 2 and 3 we could be seated right away, and that was great arrangement.
Food and drinks were great, pretty much what you expect them to be when you order them. The parsley cream soup was specially recommended by our friends and that was amazing.
We all enjoyed a happy brunch and the service was nice as well. Waiters may be busy from time to time but they are helpful.

I happened to pass by this restaurant and seeing the decor, I wanted to come back to celebrate my birthday here. I didn't realize to make a reservation but saying it was my birthday they were very kind and offered us a table for 2. the food was very good, as was the dessert. the decor is exceptional. the bill was high but it was worth it. the tip is included in the bill. I recommend

I had the pleasure of visiting Cafe Imperial with my wife just before New Year's Eve on December 29, 2023, and the overall experience left us with mixed feelings.

The first thing that struck us upon entering was the fantastic ambiance. The restaurant, located at Na Poříčí 15 in Prague, boasts truly unique and captivating interiors. The historical charm of the place added a special touch to our dining experience. The food at Cafe Imperial was undeniably exquisite. We savored every bite, appreciating the culinary expertise that went into each dish. However, one aspect that slightly marred our experience was the waiting time for the main course. We found ourselves waiting for over 30 minutes from the time of ordering. Despite this, the service was exceptional, and the staff remained attentive and friendly throughout our visit.

An unexpected disappointment was the size of the restroom facilities. Given the upscale nature of the restaurant, we were surprised to find that the toilets were quite small. Additionally, during our visit, the restrooms were overcrowded, and temporarily, there was an issue with the water supply.

To accompany our meal, we opted for the Beer Imperial, and it pleasantly surprised us with its rich flavor and distinct character. The drink complemented the overall dining experience.

In conclusion, the unique atmosphere of Cafe Imperial left a lasting impression on us, and we are eager to return in the near future. While the waiting time for the main course and the restroom facilities were minor drawbacks, the excellent service, delectable food, and charming ambiance make this restaurant a standout choice for those seeking a memorable dining experience in Prague.

Easy to book using the Google Maps booking option. Friendly staff. Dishes take a little time to arrive but it is probably because everything is prepared in the kitchen. The food is exquisite, the duck was perfectly cooked and the beef Wellington was the best we ever had. The decoration is very typical. We really recommend this place if you want to go to a fancy but still affordable restaurant here in Prague.

I will give it a 8/10.
The service and salespersons are nice and polite. We ordered duck breast and beef cheeks. The duck has crispy leather, so match with the cherry sauce! But, compare with duck breast, I think beef cheeks with cream potato is more impressive to me! The potato is so soft and creamy!😋
We also ordered one daily cake, it is pistachio with mocha and some berry, really special to us.
One little hiccup is, the server takes away our pre-meal bread without asking and we haven’t finished.😭
Otherwise, all experience was good!

Indeed very delicious (traditional Czech) food. The interior is amazing! Reservations are strongly recommended. Although we came kinda early for the reserved time, the staff helpfully managed the situation. However, atmosphere felt slightly busy and restless.

Very good Svíčková. I also got the chocolate bomb which I recommend if you like raspberry. I don’t want to spoil the rest of that amazing dessert. Pretty good service. Decor is beautiful! 10% tip/service is already added which I would’ve gave.

Such a lovely cafe, located within the Art Deco Prague Imperial Hotel. Beef Wellington for the win! Vino choices, dinner choices (vegan and regular), and dessert choices are all stellar! A MUST visit, while in Praha.

I've heard so many great things about Café Imperial, I've booked my reservation about 3 months ago, once I knew I'm about to come to Prauge.
Luckily, my hotel was just around the corner.

The service was impeccable, so fine and delicate, yet accurate and kind.

Prices were great, and you would get your money's worth.
Everything was presented well, very delicious, complex yet clean and accurate flavours.

Can't recommend it enough.

Make sure you get your spot here when you come here.

I had no reservation but was squeezed in for a quick 1hr lunch, and the service was very efficient once seated. I had soup and stroganoff, both gluten free and there were other options on the lunch menu. It's a cool place, really interesting interior. Can't fault it really!

A very nice classic brewery with a magnificent mosaic decor. The cuisine is excellent, the dishes are homemade and prepared to order. The service is very attentive and the general atmosphere rather refined. A very good address in all cases.
And a special mention for the homemade dark beer which is excellent, don’t miss it !

A fantastic restaurant! I walked in in the morning for breakfast and was impressed by this adorable place. Very spacious and inviting. Beautiful decor, bright and colorful. Great selections with great taste. Staff were all very friendly, nice and helpful. Good communication (considering that not all people speak good English in Prague). As for foods, the breakfast buffet looked so interesting and tempting but i didn't have enough time - it usually finishes at 10.30am. My breakfast tasted amazing. Satisfying portion with lovely presentation. Everything was just perfect!

We visited this beautiful restaurant for family dinner. We wanted to try tradicional “svíčková” and it has great taste-balanced sweet and savory. They bring you extra sauce by side. It’s their “must eat”!
Other meals weren’t so well balanced, but still good.
Starters-rabbit and pate- both are yummy.
Service was polite and friendly.
We booked the table in advance and it’s necessary !!!
