Šlajferka

Usedlost "Šleiferka" byla roku 1770 postavena v barokním stylu Františkem Václavem Schleichertem. Roku 1845 pak byla nahrazena anonymní pozdně klasicistní stavbou, kterou v letech 1923-25 doplnil a přestavěl Tomáš Sašek na novoklasicistní objekt Kongregace školských sester řádu svatého Františka. V té době byly všechny budovy vyvýšeny o jedno patro a bylo k nim přistavěno severní křídlo s kaplí. Podle některých pramenů v roce 1848 v menším zahradním domku údajně bydlel Václav Kliment Klicpera. Během okupace budovu zabrala německá posádka. Ve druhé polovině 20. století tu byla zřízena kulturní síň Obvodního národního výboru. Dnes objekt po rozsáhlé rekonstrukci slouží opět Kongregaci rádu sester svatého Františka k charitním účelům.

The "Šleiferka" homestead was built in 1770 in the Baroque style by František Václav Schleichert. In 1845, it was replaced by an anonymous late classicist building, which was supplemented and rebuilt in 1923-25 by Tomáš Sašek into a neoclassical building of the Congregation of School Sisters of the Order of St. Francis. At that time, all the buildings were elevated by one floor and the north wing with a chapel was added. According to some sources, Václav Kliment Klicpera allegedly lived in a smaller garden house in 1848. During the occupation, the building was occupied by a German garrison. In the second half of the 20th century, the cultural hall of the District National Committee was established here. Today, after extensive reconstruction, the building again serves the Congregation of the Order of the Sisters of St. Francis for charitable purposes.
