This is our second time here. We enjoy it very much every time.

We find both the architecture and the flavors very successful.
It also has an ambiance that you would want to live in Prague.

Prices are average.
The beers are delicious. 😋

I went there after reading a blog about visiting Prague by in couples of days by French journalist and I can confirm that the atmosphere is cozy and the Czech foos is delicious. And the price is good. Worth tour money.

"And we haven't been to the Pinkas yet!".. says famous old movie Czech catchphrase. And superintendent Ledvina was right! Most traditional czech pub and.. since 1843.. first one serving Pilsner Urquell beer in Prague city. Thats really something! Legendary restaurant had good times and bad times.. but today the visit is higly recommended! Have a topclass Urquell from a tank down in the taproom or enjoy original czech cuisine on the upper floors. Get the vibes of good old times:-)

So delicious Traditional Czech Food ( well done pork ) available in vegetarian and non vegetarian and also local beer, friendly staff especially the Lady that was working at the restaurant she was super nice and good at suggesting and explaining the menu and also taking care of the customers:) so satisfy.

Excellent food and service! We sat at the lower level of the restaurant which we didn't mind because it had great atmosphere. We ordered svitchova and the food was incredible good. Also the service new English very well and the y were very friendly! I would recommend this place to anyone who want to eat good chezh food. Also the prices were superb for the quality and the portion of the food.

We visited in December and enjoyed a variety of food here.

We sat upstairs, it was nice. The staff were friendly and helpful when we weren’t sure what to eat.

The food was amazing!
We particularly loved the beer cheese and goulash. Of course the beer too! 🍻

We will definitely come back when we are in Prague.

Brilliant pub/bar 1st place to sell Pilsener and it was lovely, they do a race up the stairs every year with 10 beers (look it up it looks fun) which we wished we could have experienced and they have a hidden beer garden which was closed at this time so we will be back for that at some point. All in all one of the best places for a good Pilsener 👍

This is the place I liked the most while visiting Prague!
The staff was really friendly and nice. The food was AMAZING - especially beer cheese 😋
They even had some few really good vegetarian options.
Would come back to Prague just for this place!

I have watched this place change since the end of communism. The beer was always good, and remains the best in the world, with good food! Full of atmosphere even pre-1989 now it is superb. I even composed some music on the beermats here (1990). Don't miss it!

The food was absolutely amazing, authentic czech restaurant, great beer and friendly staff. i will definitely try to visit it again before my visit to Prague ends, highly recommend.

Amazing and tasty traditional czech food, very friendly staff, incredible atmosphere, was eating only there during weekend in Prague.

We ate goulash and svickova here and it tasted very good. Ambiance is old fashioned and nice. You can pay with card here.

Great spot in the center of Prague. It's my go-to place to eat or drink in the Mustek area. The terrace in the courtyard between the restaurant and the church is a very nice place to be, especially in the evening.
The team here is great, always smiling and very friendly. There is a wide range of typical Czech meals at a great price.
If you go there I'd recommend you try the sausages cooked in beer (it's a little spicy).
I highly recommend you stop by in this bar/restaurant if you're in the area!

Very good traditional Czech style restaurant.
Good traditional food, great beer and excellent service. When for a business dinner and everyone was happy about the food and the service. Good vibrant environment, not very noisy if you take the top floor.

Came here based on many recommendations for traditional Czech food options. The dishes were delicious and reasonably priced. Be sure to make reservations especially on weekends or holidays.

We visited this restaurant twice - it was our first stop in Prague after arrival, and we closed our journey in the same restaurant after 4 days. It’s the best choice if you want to drink the best beer (Pilsner Urquell) in Prague! There is also very tasty National food (especially svichkova). This restaurant has a nice history, which adds additional good vibes. Highly recommended!

Very very good restaurant in the middle the old town. Very nice service and good food. I’ve been here for two times and it was really good and delicious. The prices and the service is really great, fast and awesome.

You have to try the traditional starters and definitely the Tartar - awesome and fresh. ❤
