Incredible care from the moment we walked in the door. My mom fractured her wrist and we were seen by a doctor within minutes, and taken for an x ray within 10 minutes of walking in to the hospital. The longest part was waiting for the trauma doctor to come to the hospital. We were in an out in just over an hour. Unfortunately the supply situation is lacking in Cuba, so the cast she was given was less than ideal but it did the job until we got home.
Both doctors spoke English very well, and the other staff we spoke to were fluent enough that we had no issues communicating. The trauma doctor gave his phone number so we could update him via WhatsApp once we were home and had seen a doctor at home to confirm they were satisfied with his placement of her bone, which they were.
The prices were great as well, a fraction of what it would cost us at home if we were uninsured. And because of the low price, we opted to pay the $200CAD out of pocket instead of waiting for our insurance to sort it out so we could get back to our hotel before dinner was over.
We were nervous about going the hospital because we had no idea what to expect in Cuba and our expectations were blown out of the water.
I know this level of speed and care is not the norm for Cubans, but for any tourists, you're in great hands at Cira Garcia.

The love and care and high quality of this clinic was everything ! I am one month post op having plastic surgery and already I can tell I am having great results... and they should only be getting better. Coming from Canada and going to this wonderful clinic in a nice neighborhood in Havana , I was in safe hands under the care of true professionals who know their stuff. I highly recommend this clinic and have told many people of my experience which totally made them be rest assured that Cuba has a great medical sector and there isn't anything to be afraid of. Very impressed with doctor,nurse and everyone else working there. What my friend needed costs $400 including ambulance ride to hospital and back to hotel .
In US the same intervention would probablly cost $25 000. God bless ....

words will never reflectnhow grateful I am. These doctors are WORLD class. I was treated like royalty from my first day to the last. My surgery was painless, recovery was painless. Food was AMAZING! Modern facility, amazing staff. I honestly believe these are the best doctors in the world.Thank you once again! you deserve 10 stars! Thank you Dr. Jesus for everything! The nurses were on time with the medication and checking my pressure and heart rate. Beautiful people!

This is the reality of Cuban hospital, not what they show you, this is the real hospital is time to see the real Cuban regimen.

The doctors saved my father's life. We are forever grateful. We didn't speak any Spanish but the staff was very kind to us. The front desk speaks perfect English. There is WiFi here which helped alot. The cafeteria serves food before 3pm but only drinks in the afternoon so plan accordingly. This is an EXCELLENT hospital with kind and caring people.

Great clinic , with very helpful doctors and really good if not great conditions, they took care of my like i was family going even an extra mile for my and my issues .I was host in Casa betty2097621 just a block down the road for a really affordable fare for 15 days ,they too were really great and have the best breakfast around.
As much as i dont want to go back to the hospital i have to say if i ever have surgery again this will be my first choice . I meet people from Bahamas, Angola and many countries there.

I was at Cira Garcia in May of 2015. I am in the Cayman Islands. I broke and shattered my wrist bone, really bad. The Doctors here in the Cayman's charged me over 14 thousand CID, but the bad thing was when they reset my wrist bone the reset was 11mm off, which caused the worse pain I had ever had, I was unable to bend my wrist. Because I was going though all this pain, the Doctors here in Cayman's wanted to place a bone graft, and a metal plate in my lower arm, which that operation would have cost me more than 14 thousand. So I would have been in dept well over 30 thousand here in the Cayman's for a broken wrist.. This is unreal...The Hospital here had already messed up once, and I wasn't about to go down that road again here in the Cayman's, plus I could not afford to have that type of operation done here in the Cayman's anyway. . So I started researching online for another solution, and another country for my problematic wrist pain, on what could be done to stop the pain. Then a friend here in Cayman's told me about Cira Garcia Hospital in Havana Cuba. So I contacted them, and to make a longer story shorter, A great Dr, there by the name Lazaro F. Cleto Betancourt which his Specialty is Orthopedics and Traumatology reconstruction surgery. Well he fixed my wrist, I have never had any pain since the surgery... And the surgery only cost me $1235 USD... The people that work there are very nice, and polite people, And foods not bad either...:) I would recommend Cira Garcia Hospital at the TOP number 1 hospital in Caribbean... I will always go there in the future for my every hospital need.

I was there December 2017. The staff(nurses, cleaners etc.) were helpful and kind. The doctors were professional. The found out within 3 days what my problem was. Thank God for their services. I didn't like the food that much.

Great medical team and good care

Equipe muito gentil e atendimento rápido. Clínica limpa e com ar condicionado. Precisei de laxante para prisão de ventre e foi necessário prescrição médica no dia de Natal. Muito rapidamente o médico prescreveu e pude comprar o laxante glicerinado na farmácia da clínica. Paguei com cartão de crédito e foto do passaporte.
Equipe de seguranças nos providenciou um taxi de volta à nossa hospedagem.

Hicimos atender a nuestros dos niños pequeños allí, fuimos de turistas y ya venían con tos desde casa. El lugar es excelente, la atención es muy humana. Nos hicieron pasar a atender a los niños aún antes de que el seguro internacional diera el OK. Se nota el amor por la infancia de las doctoras, muy pacientes, detalladas y calmas. La atención es muy personalizada y humana. Desde luego, la atención al turista no es gratis, pero el trato es muy distante del mercantil.
Un alivio haber sido atendidos allí.
Por otro lado, los alrededores son muy bellos.

2009 heb ik één aneurysma gekregen ik moest met spoed geopereerd worden. Ik moest papieren ondertekenen, bleek dat ik 25% kans had om het te overleven. Ze hebben mijn schedel gelicht en de ader gedicht. Ik kon niet meer praten en was eenzijdig verlamd. Na therapie in Nederland, ben ik er weer. De arts in Cuba dr de Jongh heeft mijn leven gered

Suite à une fracture et luxation de l'épaule dues à une agression dans la rue, la police ( grâce à un passant médecin que j'aimerais pouvoir remercier) nous a conduit à la Clinica Central. Nous avons immédiatement été pris en charge par le personnel médical d'urgence que nous remercions pour l'accueil, la gentillesse et le professionnalisme malgré le manque de moyen à Cuba. Clinique visitée dans la soirée du 13/05/2023 et réservée aux étrangers. De retour en France je poursuis le processus immobilisation et rééducation. Merci à toute l'équipe, médecins, infirmier, infirmière . Je ne vous conseille bien évidemment pas une telle visite.

Estuve ahí con mi señora en julio de 2010, las instalaciones son modernas y bien equipadas, la atención es excelente, los médicos y enfermeras con muy buenos y muy atentos, las habitaciones tienen TV cable y aire acondicionado. Es una clínica solo para extranjeros, no vi a ningún paciente cubano, y se paga en CUC, en efectivo, en la recepción, el valor, comparándolo con el país de origen de uno, no es caro, y la atención como dije es muy buena totalmente recomendable.

Je qualifie TOUS les services de la Clinica Central Cira Garcia: L'EXCELLENCE !!!!!! Tout commence avec le service des Relations Publiques ou j'ai pris mes renseignements. Madame Layanis possède une patience d'or avec nous qui possédons beaucoup de questionnement, surtout venant de l'extérieur.........En dedans d'une heure, nous avons nos réponses.

A notre arrive sur place, nous sommes tout de suite pris en charge par l'accueuil et une infirmière vient nous chercher pour continuer a nous conduire vers les examens essentiels pour une chirurgie: Le sang, le coeur et les poumons....Le coût est a part, environ $230.00 canadiens.

L'équipe medical travaille avec grande competence. Ils sont très strics sur le protocol. Prenez note qu'il est plus facile d'arriver directement de l'aéroport a la Clinique. De ce fait, tout est fait en quelques jours. DE LA, prendre une dizaine de jours de repos.J'avais pris une semaine de repos AVANT, et j'ai dû payer un taxi pour aller-retour pour les examens ($100. de plus).......Mon hotel était a 55 minutes de la Clinique. Après vos journées a l'hopital, je recommande fortement l'hôtel Jibacoa, car il y a un infirmier sur place, 24 heures par jour.

Pour en revenir a mon operation, c'est-a-dire, lifting des joues et du cou, il y avait trois médecins constants pour moi. Ils étaient la a mon arrivee pour me poser des questions, les trois dans la sale d'opération ou j'ai choisi une chirurgie locale au lieu d'être endormie.......Lorsqu'il y avait incomprehension au niveau de la langue, Madame Layanis était convoquée pour faire la traduction. Tout est CLAIR.....tout est PROFESSIONNEL.......C'est un endroit exceptionnel. J'en avais entendu parler, mais personnellement , JE L'AI VÉCU ! Mon frère est allé à Cuba pour faire évaluer un traitement pour son cancer des ganglions. On lui a fait passé des examens avec les spécialistes et on lui a remis un écrit des traitements qu'il a pu faire à Montreal. Cela lui a permis de prolonger sa vie de 7 ans. Merci aux gens de la clinique et à l'ami (Un cubain Unaldo) pour son aide.

Hola buen dia, tengo la necesidad de buscar una alternativa para recuperarme ya q a finales de septiembre me asaltaron en toluca dándome una brutal golpiza, para mí suerte no quede bien de mis facultades mentales teniendo cambios de personalidad y por si fuera poco a finales de año nuevamente fui amedrentado quedando peor. Hoy ya contando con los recursos espero q la calidad y tecnología de punta con la q cuenta este hospital pueda recuperar mi vida.
