Venami may be small in size, but it's certainly grand in flavors! We first heard about it through a recommendation in another restaurant review, and we're so grateful for that tip-off. The pizza and pasta here are nothing short of phenomenal, and the prices are incredibly reasonable for the quality you receive. What truly sets Venami apart, though, is its exceptional service. The staff is incredibly warm, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. Unlike most other places in Havana, they didn't treat us like tourists; instead, they made us feel like valued guests. Whether you're a local or a traveler, this hidden gem is definitely worth a visit!

Little pizza and pasta joint just outside of New Havana. This place is an absolute gem. Friendly staff and delicious food. I rarely find so close to the hotels that don't gouge their customers.

The food here was so good and the service was amazing. They were very attentive! I had pasta with tomatoey sauce with cheese oven baked. It was to die for. My friend had a pizza whichbwas amazing as well. Prices were half the price of other local eats too! If youre reading this, trying to figure out where to go, come here for a meal! 😊

What a find! By far the best pizza in Cuba IMHO. Excellent super friendly service. Great wine, fresh juices. Will do half and half pizza for us light eaters. Fresh dough, pizzas prepared in front of you. Sneaking a peek at the food of other clients, the calzone and pasta looked good too!

The best Cuban-italian food I had in Havana. Greta portions with very reasonable prices, around 800 pesos for a main pasta dish. The kitchen is open and you can see them preparing the food in front of you. Would recommend.

Delicious food with affordable prices! I visited this restaurant 4 times during my stay in Havana.

We ate here pretty much every day because it is one of the only places with multiple vegetarian options. Both pizza and pasta were great and it is very cheap for what you get.

This place is awesome. Fresh pasta, fresh pizza dough, natural juices, nice wine list. There’s an open kitchen so you can see how your meal is prepared. Staff is super friendly. Prices are great. We came here multiple times in our Habana trip.

Wow. I mean everyone has their preferences for pizza but this was so on point. Both pizzas we ordered were perfectly done. Great small Italian restaurant vibe. Bravo!!

I can easily say that this was my favorite little lunch spot in Havana. The owners are so friendly and nice. All the employees are equally fun and willing to chat with you. The food is also amazing. I had one of their specialty pizzas with a sparkling water and it was delicious.

This was a great spot. Was recommended to us by a local friend (not someone off the street). The prices were SO cheap. We got 2 beers, a free basket of bread and pesto, an appetizer, and two full size pizzas for about $18 CUC (which is around $20 USD). The owner was super nice and kept asking us if we liked the food. The pesto was probably the best pesto I've had ever. I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. Definitely more of a local spot too!

Wonderful, small and friendly place to have lunch. Everything we tried was simply delicious and price was right. Ordered pizza and bruschettas. Wish we had more time to order more food. Sure everything in the menu is good.

This is the only place in Cuba I found that made real pizza i.e. with white cheese not yellow cheese. The pizza base is thin and crispy - they roll the dough, stick it in the oven and you have your pizza in 10 mins. Realtively cheap (by western standards) and cheerful.

When you are tired of the food in the resort, go to Venami. We were feeling this way and we went looking for some Italian food. I know I know, you went all the way to Havana for pizza and the answer is yes. Only for Venami.
The owner welcomed us in and sat us in an air conditioned room upstairs and proceeded to serve us himself climbing up and downs the narrow staircase. He gave us some focaccia with pesto to start. We then began to order many dishes from bruschetta to pastas to pizza. Each one better than the last. You could taste the freshness of each ingredient. Delicious flavors and the pasta was hand made. A table of eight of us and it was just over 100 CUC which is so cheap. I would give them six stars if I could.
