Great small bar for live music. Spent a wonderful evening in March 2017 listening to the band Andy Son. We stayed until closing and would have liked to have stayed all night.

Great place, passionate band, interesting staffs and lovely Salsa music night

Spent a couple of evenings drinking tasty cocktails here and listening to the band play some amazing music. They also serve food and you can scribble on the wall too if you like!

Great atmosphere, great music, great empanadas

Lovely ambiance, good live music, mingle with tourists and locals, good food with perfect portions😍😍😍

If there is music, get in, order a drink and enjoy. Incredible atmosphere!

Paseando por la Plaza Vieja nos sentamos a fumar un cigarillo. Entablamos conversación con un chico sentado a nuestro lado que comía una mazorca de maíz. Nos comentó que trabajaba en un bar cercano, ahí fuimos con él.

Nos trataron fenomenal, conocimos a toda la plantilla, cocineros, camareros y al dueño del local, Omar. Bendita casualidad, teníamos parientes en la misma ciudad.

Es un bar musical en directo. Todas las tardes hay grupos cubanos de diferentes estilos amenizando las consumiciones. El ambiente es festivo y alegre. 

Más allá de la barra hicimos amistad con Omar y equipo. Nos presentaron a media Plaza Vieja, compartimos ron e historias con ellos.

Muchas gracias Omar. Deseamos que puedas venir pronto y reencontrarte con las personas que amas. Un fuerte abrazo. Saludos de Pilar, maquillaje de estrellas y Rubén. Muak!.

schaut man heute sich die Bilder der Bar an, erkennt man wie neu der Laden damals 2016 noch war und wie frei die Wände :-) Schön zu sehen das dieser nette und freundliche Ort weiter existiert. Wurden damals sehr herzlich empfangen. todo lo mejor

Aquí tomé el mejor mojito en la Habana, mas rico que en la Bodeguita y más barato. La comida súper rica

Fui en 2017 y era mi lugar de noches y meriendas, cálido y acogedor. Quiero volver 💕😭

Awful experience - ‘befriended’ by a Cuban couple who then took my partner and I to this bar. No menu offered or displayed - offered Cuba libre by the bar staff and the other couple ordered four. Used the interaction as an opportunity to try and hustle bad cigars and then when time came to pay and leave the bill was 45 USD. Very aggressive staff, clearly in on the con with this couple who took us there. Got physical with us before we escaped paying them 5 USD which is all the bad drinks were worth. Classic Havana scam bar with horrible staff. Avoid at all costs.

We were looking for a place to have a drink and enjoy local live music and this fit the bill until we were accused of damaging a performer’s instrument which we didn’t do. When we left four or five huge men stopped us and demanded payment. Other tourists even stopped to assist us and offer to help with payment to make this go away. We paid and then immediately returned to our cruise ship. Beware.

Unfortunatly the welcome was pretty terrible...What arrogant people working there. We had to wait 30 minutes for a Mojito that was expensive and not good. I m generally happy where ever I go, but this place NEVER AGAIN. They do have live band which make the place likable at first, until you sit there. I tried a second time the next day as I always give 2 chances to people...but they didn't take there chance and I felt even more unwelcomed the next day...to avoid at all cost!
