Old Havana

My disclaimer with this post is my mobile was not on wifi most of the time I was out and about so I think these are all Old Havana but one or two may be other parts of the city. Anywho, this place will forever be special to me. One, because it was my first international travel. And two😌, because the place is special. It looks like it’s set in a time long ago. You can’t help but to see the buildings falling apart and the families clearly living there. Even so, it’s filled with hope and love. I admire their dedication to holding on the past while incorporating the future. One thing you will notice is the various forms of transportation. From horse to bike to suv. And everything in between. Yes, the old cars that you think shouldn’t work but will have you feeling like you’re in a 1950s Hollywood film. It’s magical.🥰

This country changes you. Makes you see things in a different way. To re-evaluate important things and people. To appreciate what matters in life.
Very beautiful pictures and scenery, but people trapped in politics, without any way out. Smiling in poverty, playing music, dancing, but in the same place, every day, every season, every month, with nothing to do...

I love Havana ... I love to just walk on the streets without any plans or agenda ...

I think everyone should get to know another culture to loved your own.

Really loved Havana, or you can if you are in love with car you will be for sure in love Havana. A huge number of antique cars available in the city. Havana is really famous for car and cigar. A must visit in your private without roof car on a sunny day. After that you can have a nice lunch in Havain pub with live music.

I went on a holiday to Cuba and it was a thrilling experience, I started our holiday here in Havana and I loved every second of it. The city is very old and it really is like your stepping back in time, the old 1950’s and 60’s cars along with the buildings really add a character to the city. The people in Cuba are surprisingly very welcoming and are very kind towards tourists, they will help you find your way round if you ever get lost. Another thing about Havana is the safety, I could walk on the streets at all hours and no one would look at you twice which is great. There are definitely negatives such as access to snacks and different foods at home that you can’t find in Havana. But in conclusion I would definitely visit Havana again.

Beautiful place, Old town is really nice, a l tot off bars to listen to the music. You can always bargain for the excursions and souvenirs. They dont accept credit cards so you have t exchange money to local currency

It was amazing!!! Cuba and it’s people make your experience unforgettable. It’s a place where time flies and food is wonderful... Where you can have mountains or beach to reach!

A very interesting place to visit. If you exchange dollars or euos for Cuban pesos at the airport food and drinks are cheaper, especially bottled water. Make sure to drink lots of water as it's really hot in Spring and summer!

Es realmente maravilloso. Una ciudad preciosa, la gente súper cálida. Vale la pena recorrer cada espacio. Lugar seguro, siempre hay gente queriendo sacar algún provecho, solo no hay que darles atención.
