Hotel Boutique Casavana

This is very good place to stay in Havana. It's clean, staff is friendly and the price is more than good since breakfast is included and delicious (everything is freshly made).
Also you got an amazing view over the city from the balcony where you will be having breakfast.
Plus, people are very trustworthy! I forgot my shoes inside my room when I left and they kept them and waited for me until I returned to Havana!

Sehr nettes kleines Hotel, das sich über mehrer Stockwerke eines Wohnhauses erstreckt. Eigentümer und Personal sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Wir konnten uns gut auf Englisch verständigen. Abholung bzw Transfer zum Flughafen organisiert das Hotel bei Nachfrage. Zimmer sauber und recht komfortabel. Preis Leistung sehr gut. Von hier aus lässt sich Havanna auch gut zu Fuß erobern. Trinkwasser bekommt man gegenüber der Hauptstraße günstig in einem Café. Auch gegenüber ein modernes Restaurant mit mediterranen Speisen. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt. Cuba, mi amore.

Vivo en los Estados Unidos, fui a visitar mi familia, mi opinión de este lugar es excelente, es acogedor, muy limpio ,una vista excelente, el trato es maravilloso, quiero agradecer a Ana ,Carlos ,Lila y otro muchacho que no recuerdo su nombre ,a las muchachas del servicio, que nos cambiaban la ropa de cama todos los días ,unas sábanas muy limpias ,blancas y un olor excelente, gracias, cuando regrese volveré a este lugar .

Sehr nettes Personal, die Zimmer sind schön und sauber, das Frühstück auf dem Balkon war sehr gut (backen frisch). 5 Sterne Plus! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

There's no pest control in Cuba, so don't be alarmed if you see giant roaches inside or outside the hotel. Room service is very good and attention to detail. Wifi really sucks in the hotel. You have to go to the office lobby to try and have decent service. Not fast enough for uploads or downloads. You can't do office work in Cuba unless you get a local Sim card for your phone from ETECSA (one and only government run phone company) and that in itself is a pain in the rear. Just go to Varadero or Los Cayos and enjoy the beach. I couldn't wait to leave Cuba. Sad but true.

Clean comfortable stay in Havana. Hotel staff arranged for my late pick up at the airport and were there to greet me in the early morning hours. Free WiFi and Breakfast. Excellent balcony views with a view of Havana and within walking distance of the Malecon.

The location of the hotel is excellent and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms are extremely clean and with modern furniture. Don’t be fooled by the outside appearance of the building. The breakfast is simple but delicious. The only problem we had was the water pump fault .

I booked this place based on its review. However, this is even not a hotel. Just level 4,5, and 11 are part of this hotel. So if you arrive late (like 2 am) you must call the staff to open the door. There is no sign of hotel or lobby like place.
The good thing is staff can speak English and they messaged me on WhatsApp in advance. I used roaming service to call them and they came to open the door.
The place is in good area (old Havana is nightmare, slam, and dangerous)
The breakfast for $7 was somehow acceptable. It has egg, some fruit, and jam.

Bad things:
- You can’t believe it they do not provide shampoo, hair dryer, and toothpaste. So bring all you need like above mentioned and sleepers and even towels.
- there is too much noise in the street that from 11th floor you can still hear them and for me with light sleep it was too much.
- in general everything is old in Cuba and the hotel building is horribly damaged. They renovated the 11th floor but still closets and many things are old.
- They charge too much for everything. Small coffee 400 peso
- wifi is free but like dial up connection and would not work work all the time
- Sheets and blankets are not clear clear but they are good.
- They give me a bunch of keys (5) to open doors. No cards or other anything
Good things:
- The location is not in poor place and still near to sightseeings.
- Staff are friendly and helpful but tend to charge more if they can
- view is spectacular and amazingly beautiful.

Het Hotel Boutique Casavana vind ik geen 90€/ nacht waard.
Het is een oud appartementsblok waar op het 11de verdiep de receptie met een paar appartementen en ook heeft de eigenaar een paar appartementen op het 4de en 5de verdiep kamers. Wij hadden de suite op het 4de verdiep geboekt en als je binnen komt voel je teleurstelling. Alles is oud en niet afgewerkt.
Wifi alleen in de gemeenschappelijke kamers
Het personeel is heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam en verdient 5*****, maar de eigenaar maakt het te duur en onderhoud het gebouw onvoldoende.
De kamer werd alle dagen heel goed gepoetst met water en de handdoeken waren netjes. Ik heb geen ongedierte gezien in de kamer.
We hadden het ontbijt genomen op de 11de voor 8$ per persoon. Ook een plastiek zak met was werd gewassen voor 5$ en de dag zelf terug op onze kamer.

There was no toilet paper in the restroom. They give you 5 or 6 keys and you need to remember which one is for the room, elevator, outside door... We ordered breakfast and they gave us moldy bread. I asked for new bread and they gave us the same bread just toasted. When we checked out they charged us more and the lady on the front desk was mad because we returned the moldy bread.
I won't come back in this hotel.
