Havana Music School

We went as a family of four with two boys aged 12 and 16, we are from the UK and did a Salsa class and a music lesson. We had the best time and the staff were so lovely to us. I managed to leave my purse behind and they brought it to our hotel! Such a relief! We had such a brilliant afternoon; thank you Havana Music School!

The quality of instruction was excellent as was the hospitality. I also saw my teacher play in Old Havana and he was incredibly talented. It added a new dimension to my introduction to all Cuban music.

Highly recommend!! I took a percussion workshop with Alejandro where I was taught the basics of Cuban rhythms on multiple instruments (maraca, güro, cajon, bongo, claves). He also set me up with exercises to help further my practicing. This is an excellent way to learn the basics of Cuban rhythms from an amazing teacher!

This was the best thing I did musically. Teachers there are excellent. I took 10 hours of bass lessons and played twice with two different ensembles. It was just fantastic. I learned a lot from my bass teacher Olivia. Miguel was very helpful in organizing everything. I felt home there. I'd like to go again for a longer period of time.

Five Stars for a really great music school. As a trombone and piano player I visited daily classes during my vacation in Havana. It was a great experience to work with such fantastic teachers (Angel and Armando) .Everything was well organized - thanks to Claudia Fumero. At my next stay a will visit the music school again for sure.

Wonderful place for diving into the world of cuban music culture!
My girlfriend and me, both professional musicians, had classes there with two different teachers and got a really good impression of where to start with cuban music. Truly wonderful and kind teachers who can give you a smart start with their musical language and give you the tools and tips you need! The school is also located in a beautiful house by the way! Definitely recommended for beginners and professionals! Have to come back for more lessons ;)

A wonderful place with top teachers! I enjoyed my piano lessons with Angel and made a lot of progress. The people are super nice and made me welcome in their "music family".

Vine para estudiar guitarra unas semanas, terminé estudiando percusiones y timbales. Y la experiencia fue increíble.

Super école de musique ! Les profs sont très sympas et pédagogues. J'ai eu un cours de percussions, et on a accompagné une musique de Buena Vista Social Club à la fin. J'ai adoré !!!
