El Aljibe

What an amazing meal I had here. The rice and beans were perfect and the lobster in mild chili sauce some of the most flavourful I’ve had. So good!

The best chicken I’ve ever tasted in my life. And NOT even joking !!! It was sooooo good. All the pieces were very big. Their rice with beans was so tasty. I still have the taste of their food. One word: YUMMY !!

This place is a must visit for me whenever I visit Havana. Excellent Cuban chicken with rice and beans - the best!! Trust me - I’m crazy fussy! lol Be sure to bring CUP because the USD exchange rate is terrible.

The best place in Habana to have lunch or dinner! They have the best rice and beans, their chicken is very,very, very good. This place is the best place to eat after arriving Cuba or before leaving Cuba. Service is good and prices are reasonable. Ask for Jorge the "Super", he will do everything he can to give you the best memorable meal and experience of La Aljibe.

The location is not the most convenient if you’re in Havana vieja or Havana centro, be ready for 12 CUC taxi ride.

Do you want some of the best slow roasted chicken you've ever had? Add in delicious rice and beans and you won't come away from here hungry. Unfortunately a bit of a taxi ride from Havana but totally worth it.

It used tobea charming corner with different offers. Aljibe is still a traditional tiki place with spwcial formula for their proper chicken. Exquisite lobster prep. It is a pity that lately it is looking like fading.

Chicken, chicken and more chicken! All you can eat and perfectly roasted. Mojitos are excellent but the servers are a bit slow getting them to you.
Cigar shop next door has a decent selection and they'll negotiate a little- something you don't find at the LCDH's around town...

Amazing chicken! Comes in a gravy that is fantastic. The black beans that came with the meal were also the best we had on the entire island!

If you haven't eat chicken before at El Aljibe. That's mean you never eat a chicken in your life before... price are really good also and the location is heart of the Miramar.

Semi-outdoor seating which was very nice. Nice bathroom. Food was delicious! Not a fan of lobster but the lobster was exceptionally good.

A state run establishment with the best roast chicken. Ever. Come hungry, portions are generous.
