Hostal Malecon 663

We didn’t stay at the hostal but we saw their rooftop walking by at night time and we decided to go and check it out.
The hostal inside is super cute, lots of art and cool decor. They have a cafe/restaurant on the second floor as well.
The view was so awesome from their rooftop, they had a DJ and it was just great sitting outside to enjoy some nice cocktails with great music and a nice view.

Have a drink at Malecon 663 rooftop restaurant. The incredible views over the sea are enough to make you want to come back for more, and if you’re close enough to the front of the terrace, you can count the colorful classic cars cruising down the street.

We visited for drinks. Super nice people and really different, funky hotspot! Glad we stumbled into this place!

My partner and I arrived at Malecon 663 early February, after having stayed in a dreadful (supposedly) 5-star hotel at Cayo Guillermo, one of the many all-inclusive ones. It felt like an oasis from the very first moment we stepped inside. Every corner of this building is interesting and beautiful, I was amazed every day while walking through it. The location of course is also excellent, right at the legendary Malecon, walking distance from pretty much every restaurant and bar you are going to want to visit. I had booked the Suite Gozando En La Habana, which I highly recommend. I couldn't get enough of the stunning sea view and the feeling of watching daily life along the Malecon route. The suite is just as quirky as you see in the photos. The only thing I would change would be the toilet, in which case I would have preferred a more private enclosure that would have also offered greater soundproofing. In our case, one was sent to enjoy the beautiful terrace when the other wanted to use the toilet. All members of the staff were very friendly and helpful. We didn't get to try the food apart from the tasty breakfast, but we did enjoy some drinks at the nice rooftop bar. The music from the bar is not an issue, since the bar is not open till too late, while we actually liked listening to the music from our room. However, once the bar closes, the actual process of the closing of the bar lasts about an hour and it is very, very noisy. I didn't expect the staff members to tip toe walk at the end of the day, but I did feel that they could have been a little bit more considerate for the guests staying in the rooms. In any case though, I would gladly come back and stay here.

Great little cafe on the second floor to stop and have a drink on if you are walking along the malecon. Fun decor and friendly staff. Wifi is just for hostal guests. Great views of the ocean and a nice breeze to escape the sun outside

We loved our drinks! Super funky, great sunset views, and fun atmosphere. They are out of a lot of ingredients so ask what is available when you get there.

CLEARLY, by the number of pics I took, I love this hostel!! Disclaimer: I didn’t stay here. I have no idea what the rooms are like or the service but we hung there for a few hours and I loved it! The space is so inspiring. Art. Everywhere. The moment you walk in you feel as if you’re in a special experience. I wish I could have spent more time there but we left for dinner. They have a DJ on the rooftop patio and the view.... AMAZING! The walk up the stairs was interesting after a drink ☺but I’m pretty sure the elevator shaft we walked by can get you there as well. The staff was friendly. And they sale local art in the lobby. It’s Cuba 2020. Definitely the future of Havana. Not sure when or if I’ll make it back to Cuba but if I do, this is my first stop. These pics won’t leave my phone.♥♥

Mojito making class in the best location in Havana!! Must do this! The sweet potato bruchetta was wonderful. Drinks and service amazing!

I love the themed rooms, my room Cuarto de Tula was very comfortable. Its noisy until 11 but I liked it, it helped me sleep. View is gorgeous. Breakfast is amazing. Staff is kind and attentive. Great experience, beautiful artistic hotel.

A.M.A.Z.I.N.G. One of the coolest places I've visited in Cuba. The atmosphere and music (live) were unique and customer service was the best I've experienced in Cuba. 100% recommended.

can only recommend also for their rum tasting courses. phantastic view all over malecon and very fancy food

Packed with amazing artwork, plus great service and edibles. We really enjoyed our afternoon there.

Die Zimmer können wir nicht bewerten, aber die Dachterrasse ist der Wahnsinn.
Das Essen und die Cocktails super lecker.
Die Bedienung mega freundlich.
So haben wir Silvester und einige andere Abende gerne dort verbracht.
Die Aussicht ist atemberaubend.

아바나에서의 마지막 날 석양을 보기 위해 루프탑을 방문했고 이날은 바람이 세차게 불어 말그대로 말레꼰=방파제 본연의 모습을 볼수있어 더 완벽한 하루였다. 칵테일 가격은 싸지만 아바나 다른곳보다는 비쌌으며, 여직원이 상당히 친절하고 친화적이었다
