Cabinas Piuri

Our stay at Cabinas Piuri was a great stop. The highlight was undoubtedly the private access to Rio Celeste for swimming. We were even fortunate enough to spot an anteater strolling along the riverbanks, which was an incredible experience. Additionally, their breakfast tipico was delicious and a great way to start the day.

If you're looking for a private getaway here you go. The river is just a few steps away. We stayed in the giant egg! It had everything we needed and was so cozy. There are several restaurants just minutes away and breakfast is served fresh every morning. The national park and trails to the waterfall are only minutes up the road. I would recommend this to anyone and would stay again.

Super nice spot to camp with its own private river with super blue water. Nice family and good breakfast. Great view also of the mountains and countryside. Close to the national park! Definitely recommended for a few nights to recover! Thank you family and especially regarding our 4x4 (stuck in the mud) ;)

If you truly want to experience "Rio Celeste", this is the place to do it. It's extremely affordable and you have private access to the river.
The hospitality is great the rooms are good if you're just looking for a place to crash and not pay an arm and a leg.
If you stay here you're about a 5 minute drive to the "Rio Celeste" entrance and national park.

Great little place to stay, private little river on the property.

The Cabinas are very clean and rather big. You could easily fit 7 people in our room. The accommodation is only one kilometer away from the Rio Celeste Park entrance, so it's perfect if you wanna go there early in the morning on the next day. You can also go into a part of Rio Celeste right besides the hotel. But the best part is the owner of the accommodation! He is super friendly. When we realised that we can't eat in the hotel, he offered us to drive us to a nearby restaurant. The food there was delicious! He also picked us up afterwards. I really appreciate that kind gesture because that is definitely not something everyone would do. I can only recommend this hotel!

Really friendly staff. Definitely not a resort, more like a hostel, but we had our own room. affordable, feels like you are out in nature. Like half a mile to the park where you hike to the waterfall, great location. They have a path on the property that leads right to the blue river where you can swim in the river. Cant swim at the rio celeste waterfall.

Cabinas Piuri is such a magical place. Everything from the drive to get there, the family that runs it and the property itself is just amazing. This place is made for people who look for the best alternatives to big hotels and resorts. The character and charm you'll experience here is far greater than any 5 star location that treats you like a number. Thanks for taking such good care of us Alexander!

Came here just to swim/dip in the river. 4000 colones. The path down is in great shape. I really enjoyed spending an hour here ☺

Beautiful, romanic spot right next to Arenal volcano. Incredible price for what you get. The small cabins are very modern amd well kept. It is about 30 minutes to La Fortuna, and the last five minutes are down a dirt road. Which makes it great for some peace and quite.

Norman and his wonderful daughter are a hospitality of times long goe.This is not just a hotel but a landscape and inventors playground.Must see and must meet this intriguing family and their Willi Wonka style establishment

Great spot near the Rio Celeste, even has a privaat entrance to a bathable part of the beautiful blue rivier. Talk to the owner if you need a place to stay as overlander!

Es muy lindo la verdad, un lugar super tranquilo y seguro . La atención una belleza, anímense a visitarlos y no se arrepentirán.

Muy lindo el lugar todo muy cerca del parque Nacional y cerca de un Restaurante. Con una poza Celeste privada.

Negocio familiar, lo escogimos para celebrar el aniversario. Desde el inicio la atención fue excelente, doña Sandra muy amable y servicial para brindarnos el mejor servicio.

Las cabinas son simples, todo muy limpio. Nos correspondió la cuevita del dinosaurio, muy original con su propia piscina y decorada para la ocasión.

El lugar tiene acceso privado a Río Celeste con una poza muy bonita para bañarse.

El precio, muy accesible para turista nacional, incluye el desayuno típico costarricense.

Muy recomendada la visita, pueden aprovechar para visitar el parque nacional Volcán Tenorio.

Es un paraíso...me encantó.
Está muy cerca del Parque Nacional Volcán Tenorio.
A 10 minutos bajando desde la cabina, dentro de la misma propiedad está el río, el acceso hay que hacerlo con cuidado. El río tiene un hermoso color celeste, es delicioso bañarse ahí, el agua es fría, pero me encantó. Hay 2 mecates en la poza que hacen más seguro estar ahí para los que no nadamos. Lo disfruté muchísimo. Desde la cabina se puede escuchar el río durante todo el día, en especial de noche.
Las cabinas son sencillas, son muy amplias, hasta con 4 camas por lo que resulta ideal para ir con la familia, un grupo de amigos o en pareja; están muy limpias. La señal de wifi es muy buena, no tienen televisor. También hay una cabina en forma de huevo, muy original.
Es un entorno de naturaleza bellísimo, donde se pueden observar hermosas aves desde las cabinas. El precio es muy accesible.
La atención es muy buena y el desayuno rico y abundante. En las instalaciones principales hay una pequeña venta de souvenirs propios de la zona y también hay varias hamacas donde se puede pasar un rato muy agradable.
También está la opción, si no estás hospedado en las cabinas, de pagar 2.000 colones y puedes disfrutar del hermoso río y dispones de baños en una cabina para estos usuarios.
De seguro si vuelvo a esa hermosa zona me hospedará ahí nuevamente.

Le père du propriétaire est vraiment super gentil toujours souriant, on était vraiment content qu'il nous prépare nos petits déjeuner.
Un réel plaisir.
Le fils est la pour le business c'est dommage parce qu'au prix de la chambre on peut vraiment trouvé plus cosi.
C'est vraiment roots ! Mais c'est aussi un lieu enchanté avec la rivière qui passe ne contre bas.
Alors oui... Ils vendent le truc bien les photos montrent la rivière on a l'impression que c'est devant la chambre, mais non il faut descendre dans la forêt pour atteindre ce lieux magique.

Es un lugar sensible, natural con un buen cuidado de la Habitación y cama impecable.

Lo más grandioso es que se puede disfrutar plenamente de la naturales y como premio, poder nadar en ls aguas del místico ro celeste.

Si, el río celeste pasa por la finca y hay ina poza increíble, solo para el disfrute de lis huéspedes, todo en medio de naturaleza. Súper recomendado
