Cabinas Cascada Río Celeste

We were very pleased with our choice of accommodation. The Host was very helpful, answered our questions and needs, and was very flexible when it came to accommodation. The cabins were clean and well-kept. They are located extremely close to the National Park, so you can easily walk to the entrance. There are also several eateries and fruit stalls nearby, so you can stock up on local food. I highly recommend :)

Super friendly staff! Cozy spot walking distance from the front of the park. I'm glad we stayed here because we couldn't make it into the park the day we arrived due to pouring rain so we went first thing the next day. Rooms were clean and decorated very cute and colorful, warm water, nice patio to hang out on. Delicious full gallo pinto costa Rican breakfast with coffee and avocado and all the fixings. A few cute dogs on property too. I HIGHLY recommend the farming tour that the host can set up for you. It's down the street by Alex and his family, they own a small farm and make coffee and chocolate ! You can try sugarcane and other things they grow on their farm and see a small waterfall and other animals in the jungle around :) we ate at his family's restaurant for dinner as well. These are the experiences i travel for !

Really good breakfast. Marjorie and her family have been very friendly and helpful. We even saw a Tucan while having breakfast! It's a short walk to the Rio Celeste National Park.

Maryuri and Miguel were the very best hosts we have met so far in Costa Rica, with such a huge heart. They went above and beyond on our stay over New Year's Eve to help us out with tips on what to do, our transfer to Monteverde, even some short excursions to Restaurants and attractions in the area since we didnt't have a car (and its quite hard to get around) or with a nice chat to improve our spanish. We truly felt at home here.
Close to the Rio Celeste park (only 10min walk) we can only recommend to stay here. Rooms were very clean, the breakfast big and delicious and did I mention the super friendly hosts?! Can only recommend staying here, when visiting Tenorio National Park. It's definetly worth it to stay more than just a day :) and we will be happy to stay there again, when we're back in Costa Rica.

The service is excellent, the food is tasty and more than enough , the host is super nice, the room is basic but si clean and comfortable, the location is great just 700 m from the park ... friendly dog, and the price is the cheapest of that area. I could say this place was the best in terms of customer service in all Costa Rica .

This is a very clean quaint accommodations on to the main road and five minute walk to the Tenorio and Rio Celeste national park. Very inexpensive place that Includes national type breakfast. Reservations are recommended.

Very nice and confy place. Marjorie is a great host. The place is sparkling clean and is next door to the butterfly garden and walking distance to Rio Celeste entrance.

Nice little hostel within walking distance to the NP. Good breakfast and friendly owner who showed us some Tukans in the morning. Room was clean.

The hotel is located close to the Rio Celeste waterfall and is pocket friendly with WiFi, hot water and breakfast amenities.

Perfect location, 5 minutes walk to NP Tenorio.

Es war eine tolle Unterkunft und sehr sauber. Die Besitzer sind super nett und das Frühstück war fantastisch! Im Zimmer gibt es sogar einen Kühlschrank. Es sind nur wenige Minuten zum Nationalpark. Kostenloser Parkplatz direkt vor der Tür.

La habitación está muy bien equipada y espaciosa para una persona. El desayuno muy rico y super completo.
Puedes llegar caminando al parque nacional volcan tenorio, solo hay una pequeña pendiente y tardaras 10 minutos en llegar.

Die Lage der Unterkunft ist perfekt. Man kann in 10 Minuten gemütlich zum Nationalpark laufen und sich damit die dortigen Parkgebühren sparen. In ca. 15 Minuten ist man mit dem Auto in dem Ort Bijagua für Sodas, Supermärkte usw.! Die Gastgeberin ist extrem nett und hilfreich. Obwohl wir kein Spanisch können und sie kein Englisch hat die Verständigung mit Google-Translate sowie Händen und Füßen gut funktioniert. Für unseren Sonnenbrand hat sie von der Nachbarin Aloe Vera besorgt und Abends konnten wir Teller und Besteck haben, um unsere Snacks auf der Terrasse zu essen. Die Zimmer sind einfach und zweckmäßig, sehr sauber! Kleiner Kühlschrank im Zimmer. Das Frühstück wurde nach unseren Wünschen zubereitet und war überragend gut (wir hatten Obst, Pfannkuchen, Eier, Bohnen, Kaffee, Honig - man kann aber auch ein traditionelles Gallo haben mit Reis und Bohnen, Toast...). Die Wohnung liegt an einer Straße mit mal mehr und mal weniger Verkehr. Wenn man lärmempfindlich ist, geht es aber problemlos mit Ohrenstöpseln. Klimaanlage gibt es keine, war dort aber aufgrund des abendlich angenehmen Klimas auch nicht notwendig. Abends und morgens war es als wir dort waren etwas frischer (Anfang Mai), da sind längere Kleider hilfreich. Die empfohlene Soda Dona Caste nebenan hat uns nicht gefallen und wir fanden diese mit 5.000 Colones pro Person deutlich zu teuer! Wir sind dann lieber in die Soda Dona Eli nach Bijagua gefahren, die war schöner, lecker und viel günstiger! Man sollte unbedingt auch in die nahegelegene Craftbeer-Brauerei Blue River Company gehen - Bier ist super! Empfehlenswert ist die Nachttour mit Jungle Life Costa Rica - Rainforest Tours für $35 (wir konnten u.a. einen riesigen Tapir sehen). Wir können die Unterkunft absolut empfehlen!

Tolles gemütliches, sauberes Zimmer, sehr nette Eigentümerin! Zum Frühstück Obst und Gallo Pinto, große Portion. Uns hat es gefallen und wir würden wieder dort einkehren. Es liegt direkt an der Straße aber nachts war es trotzdem ruhig. Nebenan ein sehr empfehlenswertes Restaurant.

Schöne saubere Zimmer mit Bad. Ist zwar direkt an der Straße, dafür fahren hier kaum Autos und nachts gar nicht. Zum Haupteingang vom Nationalpark Tenorio / Rio Celeste Wasserfall sind es nur 500m
Direkt daneben gibt es kleine Restaurants. Frühstück gibt es auch, von den sehr netten Vermietern. Der Blick in den Garten ist auch toll, hier gibt es Tucane und Kolibris!

Le couple qui détient cet emplacement est formidable! On s’y est tout de suite sentis très confortables, ils nous ont fait de très bonnes recommandations dès l’arrivée. Ils sont très accomodants. Miguel nous a même proposé de l’accompagner un soir pour aller à la recherche d’un tapir! L’emplacement est aussi idéal pour se rendre à pied à rio céleste.

Perfekte Lage zum Nationalpark und extrem nette und hilfsbereite Eigentümer. Sehr gutes Frühstück. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt.
