It’s a private entrance where you pay at the booth. They seem to only accept cash.

Trail is steep in some places. I imagine it would get challenging and slippery on rainy days. You can do a detour to the Tarzan swing - so fun and you can swing as long as you like!

Very nice even though we went on a rainy day. It is sad that you seemingly have to pay for everything here in Costa Rica, this one however is comparably good value for money.

Fantastic ! Nice trek through the woods and fantastic swimming hole! Definitely a highlight. On the way down, try to find the resident sloth (ask the people they are super nice and will show you)… also the Tarzan swing is great fun ! Highly recommended…

Absolute must. The trail is long and difficult but you get wonderful views of Rio Celeste and the opportunity to swim in it is magestic. Luckily we went when nobody else was there. It was beautiful.

The water is deep at points but plenty of rocks to stand on. Current is mild but I'd be cautious

What a beautiful river! Before we went, we really thought all pictures of Río Celeste were photoshopped. Well, they are not. The river is really sky blue!

Didn't do the long hike to see the waterfall but a local told us of a bridge where we could see the river up close. The water is the most beautiful blue color. Glad I got to see it.

Beautiful waterfall and river views. We did not use a guide. It was not very crowded and we had most viewing points to ourselves.

Go there. Yes, there are local buses that will get you 95% of the way...you do not need to go with an organized "tour". This is a hidden gem best found with effort.

Natural local wonder!

Magnifique balade dans la forêt tropicale, rencontre d'animaux possible si vous êtes discrets. Cascade très jolie, eau d'une couleur incroyable. Point de rencontre des 2 rivières très joli également avec le changement de la couleur de l'eau. Pas de baignade possible. Sentier très très boueux. Seconde partie un peu plus difficile que l'accès à la cascade car il y a beaucoup de racines et cailloux. Prix abordable. Possibilité de rincer ses chaussures à la fin du sentier. Accès assez éloigné du bourg quand on est à pied.

El mirador del parque es la segunda atracción turística después de la catarata. Tiene una capacidad recomemdada para 8 personas y muestra una bonita panorámica del volcán tenorio y alrededores.

Si vous recherchez un endroit pour une baignade seul dans la rio céleste, c'est ici. Acces 6$ parking inclus (souvent vide)
A condition d'avoir de bons mollets et du souffle car il y a 20 bonnes minutes de descente.

Lugar muy tranquilo.
