Dulce Junio Café

The food was really good, the crepe with mushroom was tasty and the salad that came with it was delicious. The sandwich was also good but small. They use 100% biodegradable straws which is great. The only downside was the slow service.

Best Café in San José, I keep trying to go to other places and always end up in here, the people, the atmosphere and the FOOD!!! Everything is definitely amazing!

Their Mushroom and Spinach crepe was out of this world! Dulce Junio Café has a beautiful atmosphere with a charming garden toward the back. The music was chill and uplifting and the staff was very welcoming.

I visited Junio Cafe in my surfing trip to Costa Rica. The food was amazing and they have a great variety of pies. The Mississippi pie was really delicious ! The atmosphere was nice and pleasant and the staff was nice and welcoming. I would definitely come back ❤

I stayed in San José for a week and came here for breakfast and coffee almost everyday. Their coffee was top notch. I *loved* the generous serving of homemade crema that came with my mochas, and their gallo pinto was one of the best I've ever had.

Tatiana was always my server when I was here. She didn't speak much English (yo hablo poquito Español), so we communicated via Google Translate. We managed to develop a rapport by the end of my stay, and I always think of her whenever I remember Dulce Junio.

Overall, delicious food, amazing coffee, friendly staff, and well worth the visit (or multiple visits).

Delicious. Visited this cafe after dinner for dessert. Thoroughly enjoyed the creme de menthe chocolate cake the server recommended. The frosting was a double decker of rich fudge-like chocolate topped with a mint frosting that wasn’t too rich or overwhelming. Also went back for lunch and enjoyed the curry chicken sandwich which was huge and filling; perfect focaccia bread. This place is a must stop in this district!

Great to go with friends or a date. It is cozy, music is relaxing, food is great and service is really amazing. All people working there are very helpful and attentive. Overall great experience!

Really nice place to go for a coffee! They also have good dessert options and if you go for lunch they have different options from the menu. It's also good for working but they don't have many plugs in case you are staying for long.

Great ambience for an afternoon coffee, but better check out the frappe or cold coffee contraceptions, they look instagram worthy and taste just as good, and the passion fruit dessert... Just head there and try everything, please!

Cozy and charming place in Escalante, one of the best neighborhoods to eat in San José. The brownie pie is delicious, but the vanilla ice cream could be better. The espresso is awesome. Wi-Fi password: Dulcejunio1
