Super cute park and full of eclectic folks sitting and talking, or just passing through. There are some nice coffee shops and restaurants bordering the park and nearby. Cute place, nice to hang out. Safe.

Beautiful small park in the middle of trendy Barrio Escalante. It's a very freeing experience to come to the park during the day. You'll find people making picnics, snow cones sellers and food trucks sometimes. At nights you'll see a bohemian life, with plenty of vigilance from security.

This is a lovely tiny but beautiful space with a small fountain at the centre that seemed huge when I was a child. Now you got all these teen hipster vibes with a peaceful atmosphere in this place. Police usually come to check how many people possess things like weed and its paraphernalia, so beware of seeing police walking around up and down. Sometimes it has food trucks on weekends. But pretty much is a family wise place.

An Oasis in the city. Beautiful green area right at the heart of San Jose.

Completely safe, great place for recreation, reading a book or have a coffee. Nice activities like concerts, poetry recitals are performed often.
