Really nice grocery store with some high quality items and food on the go options.

Great little market with local and international food & wine! Try some Costa Rican cheese slices on top of french bread with guava jelly!

I like this mini market, always clean, the shelves are full and organized, good variety and you find some products that are not available everywhere. Neat

Perfectly located in the middle of Barrio Escalante, this mini mart will have almost everything you might need if you are in a pinch. Good selection of drinks, produce, grab-n-go food and snacks. Prices are reasonable and the hours are good as it almost always open.

I picked up a few things here while walking around Barrio Escalante. Clean, modern and a nice variety of products. It's not big, and I saw most locals run in just for coffee or bread, but you can buy prepared foods and CR craft beers here.

Great selections. Super clean. Friendly service. Prices slightly above normal, but that's par for Fresh Market. Good parking. Prepared foods are fresh.

What can be said about a mini market. Don't go on weekends since it gets super crowded due to the surrounding bars. Usually offers a great selection of products. Not as expensive as many will say. My goto place for quick errands.

Some say its expensive but if live in the area the prices are fair especially if your picking up only a few item

Walmart Listerine same size was only a few penny's cheaper add transportation costs then its a bargain

Decent store with a great variety of salads ans handcraft beers offered. So you can get everything for your healthy diet from there. ;)

What a GREAT find and what a special location. We are only here on vacation and we had to come back a second time! It reminds us of Whole Foods in San Diego, California

Clean minimarket with all the essentials. As far as I could tell, this was the only grocery store open in Barrio Escalante during Semana Santa.
