La Calle Street Food

We got off the plane and were starving. First time to Costa Rica. San Jose is kinda sketchy so we wanted to head out to our destination. We stumbled across this place on a quick google search and decided to go based on high reviews. They had the most amazing food. I had some pulled pork sandwich and it was absolutely amazing. Highly recommend this spot. Probably a cool spot to grab a drink because it’s next to a few other places with a shared parking lot

OMG!!! You have to come here!!! This is my top 3 spots in Costa Rica. Get the pastrami sandwich!!! It’s amazing! The boneless rib is great too! We ordered a second pastrami to share with the table. So so good! The garlic sauce for the fries is also yummy!

Everyone I talked to spoke both English and Spanish, which is great. Burger is cooked to your liking. You have 5 different sauce options for your fries. Only burger I had in Costa Rica, but it was tasty!

I have a long layover in SJO so I left my bags at an airport hotel and walked to La Calle Street food. I’ve been all over Costa Rica for 10 days and finally found a delicious IPA, 20 min walk from the airport. A lot of American aesthetics but full of local patrons. Good music, excellent service and the nachos are better than in Texas. Totally recommend #puravida

It’s a mini outdoor food hall with several restaurants to choose from. It was really convenient and the food was delicious.

Good food a bit pricey but you get a great service, I wanted to try the boneless rib burger but it was sold out, the pulled pork sandwich was pretty tasty not to big not too small, the place has a nice decoration and ambience, definitely worth coming back to

Great place for burgers, home fries and nachos. The nachos are served with red. On Fridays they serve the best pork chops I’ve tasted! They also have yummy cocktails.

Really nice place. The food, service and atmosphere were great. I got the octopus tacos, which were delicious, full of flavors. My partner got the rocky burger which was really good as well. Juices were really tasty :)

Nice food, fast and friendly service. We paid 2 USD from the Courtyard for a 5 min Trip. Good choice if you stay in one of the airport hotels

The food was delicious! We ordered the octopus tacos, a steak with salad and pesto veggies, and also the pulled pork with bacon on ciabatta. We found the prices to be reasonable. The restaurant is 2-story and outdoors. Highly recommend it.

Amazing selection of craft brews, and even better food. The burger was cooked to perfection, the balsamic and onion reduction was the perfect pairing for bacon. And the brioche buns were the best vehicle for the amazing beef.

Service was top notch, the atmosphere is fun and inviting. Definitely with visiting.

Great place to get lunch or dinner. Lot's of options including burgers, tacos, wraps and more. We had tacos and burgers and they were both delicious. Had some great drinks to go with our meal as well. Our server was fantastic as well. Jafeth Castillo was attentive and made some great recommendations. Went out of the way to make sure we enjoyed our time. There is a small parking lot to park at if you have your own vehicle. It cost us around $4 to park for a few hours. Pricing seemed typical for the area.

Best burger I’ve ever had! Great service and reasonable prices

I tried something different: octopus tacos. OK, but give me Tex-Mex tacos, por favor. Impressive menu with many selections. Everything was OK, not exceptional. I thought it was a little expensive.

What a delight this was. First stop we made after arriving and the food was incredible. The 5 of us shared our foods and I will say the chicken sandwich ended up being the star of the table.

One of our best meals in country, nothing lacking, great service, wide beer selection, deep flavors in the food. Steak tacos were outstanding with a perfect combination of balsamic reduction and chimichuri. Could eat here on a daily basis.

Incredible spot. Parking available (for a cost) really cool vibes with many restaurants surrounding. The burgers were big and delicious. Same with the nachos.

We found this restaurant by doing a Google search. This is in a non touristy area and this restaurant seems to be a local favorite frequented by the younger folks. The cocktails and the food was excellent and the staff were very customer friendly
