Tuna tartare was delicious and a very generous portion. Beach seating was fabulous - even in a downpour. Pizza was tasty as was the fish and chips. Prices were very reasonable and service was good - pay as you leave.

Review for dinner. Steak was excellent. Pasta was very tasty. Focaccia bread pizza was ok.

One of the best beachfront restaurants to visit on Samara Beach. Their pizza is some of the best I have had anywhere and their 2x1 deals are great for anyone on a budget. I have also enjoyed breakfast here and they offer a huge fruit plate great for sharing.

My wife and I were thankful last month to be able to enjoy eating four breakfasts at Hotel Locanda, as a benefit of lodging at the lovely Hotel Macao Beach, a three-minute walk away. The servers were all wonderful - pleasant, kind, and helpful.The “Typico” breakfasts were delicious: eggs (we chose scrambled; fried is the other option), excellent Gallo Pinto, two or three plantain sections, white toast with margarine and jam, and outstanding coffee (my wife requested “negra”; I drank “con leche”). Orange juice and bacon are also included: I enjoyed the former; we both declined the latter. Our enjoyment of the food was, of course, enhanced by the surroundings of our beachfront table and the sound of Pacific Ocean waves.
We were also fortunate to be able to eat dinner at Hotel Locanda twice, and the service, food (we enjoyed seafood and pizza entrees), beverages, and ambiance were just as I have described already.

We were skeptical at first. But we tried the pizza here, and it was one best pizzas we've ever had! We had the 4 cheeses and added meat.. the crust was superb and the flavor was perfect. Looking for wood fired pizza this place has it! Did get to try anything else on menu. The pizza was definitely worth our time. I would come back to have it again. Mint Lemonade also good. I wish you would finally catch on to adding coconut cream to the lemonade. It's so good! Coconut lemonade.. it's a go to drink on the coast

We did not stay here but went to their restaurant for our 1 year anniversary. The food was amazing and the staff was great too. It's not an easy place to find since it's tucked away but we're very glad we did. The view of the ocean and sound of it while eating was great. There were also hermit crabs everywhere.

We will definitely be back!

It is our favorite restaurant in Samara because of the romantic Ambiente and the good food. Regularly we are asking for our dish with fish, vegetables and potatoes or with other not being on the list menu and we get it and has fine quality, see the picture from today. We are recommending our guests to go there also. Of course all is matter of your own taste. We just like it best. The service varies, new persons hired always. But with kindness and help from us it worked always fine. Coming for 2 years now each month.

This hotel and restaurant on the beach in Samara is a treat for the senses. The grounds are lush and an escape to walk through. The tables are literally on the beach and the crashing waves are all the music you need to accompany a beautiful dinner. The staff was friendly and helpful. We had Grilled Tuna and the Seafood Soup. I recommend both because they were fresh and tasty. But if I go back I’m having the soup. It was full of lobster, shrimp, clams and mussels in a really rich and delicious tomato based sauce.

Great experience, the hotel is beautiful and the restaurant offers excellent options at good prices (not cheap, nor expensive). There is long waiting for your food which is OK if you are not in a hurry and want to relax, also it's clear this is not a fast food place. They don't accept credit cards which is a HUGE no no no! Overall experience is worthy and recommended, but carry cash!

Best Pizza (italian style - for US fellows, who read this), huge servings, I highly recommend the Tuna Tartar! And any pizza, stone-oven Pizza, definitely the best in Samara and in general one of the best ones I ever had outside of Napoli and Bolzano in Italy.

My favorite cocktail place in Samara. Comfy chairs, right on the beach. Friendly, helpful staff - what more could you ask for? Oh and the food is good.

Great pizza and huge cocktails for a reasonable price. Actually much better and cheaper as most restaurants in town.

The best hotel in town, so charming calm and perfect.
Room was very chill with confortable beds and a hamoc in front, breakfast was very good, right on the beach, and i spent the best day ordering food and drinks on the beach until sunset😘

Super cute and cozy restaurant on the beach. You'd never know this place was here just walking past it. Good food and prices are reasonable.

Beautiful views and delicious food! Four or five cats hung around our table until they realized we weren’t going to feed them.

Great spot on the beach to have some good pasta and some really good Marlon Ceviche. Cool atmosphere at night, definitely recommended.
