La Oveja Negra

This place is a must! Amazing artisan food! Such a unique location. From the parking lot it doesn't appear like a restaurant, after all its on the backside of bleachers.
The food was incredible! I had the signature burger, the squid ink bun was a perfect touch.

Our family of five really enjoyed our lunch at La Oveja Negra following our hike at Tenorio Vulcan. The casados were outstanding, along with the patatones, and the chifri with pork rinds. Thanks so much for the gift of your hospitality and service!

This restaurant was fire! The food was very flavorful, the presentation was excellent, and the cook definitely knew what she was doing. The server was kind, knowledgeable, and accommodating. They had plenty of vegetarian options, and were able to modify most dishes for veggie or vegan. The place was clean, the food did not take long and the price was very good. It was surprisingly the best place we have eaten in Costa Rica. This is definitely a gem, located near Rio Celeste, and unexpected for such a small town. Can't wait to come back. Definitely recommend.

The food and the service were incredible! In a group of 6, we all found something to meet our different tastes and everything was delicious and at a great price. I highly recommend coming here! The chifri, patacón burger, and patacones trio were our favorites.

This was the best food we had around here. Beef burger was amazing- juicy and tender, and their ceviche is excellent. Service is great too. Very friendly and customer oriented.

Excellent food, which you would not expect in that kind of a football canteen, to be honest.
The stuff was pleased to prepare some vegetarian options for us. An additional plus: they provide non-plastic straws :)

The food always looks amazing and tastes great! Run by a lovely couple! They are always happy to accommodate special requests, such as a falafel burger on their signature black bun!💖😋💖

Great food in a weird setting,you would never notice is a restaurant until you get in and taste the awesome food and service is amazing, owner got out his way to get me some cold beers,tacomoloco tacos are super with mora sauce and pineapple are awesome tasting

Recomendado, vale la pena si se está cerca del lugar. Es una muy buena parada cerca de río Celeste.
La atención fue muy buena, la comida salió rápidamente y todo estaba fresco. Las porciones son bastante generosas, y los precios son muy cómodos, la relación calidad y cantidad contra precio es sencillamente excelente!
El concepto es comida rápida artesanal, perfectamente ejecutado! Comimos las papas arregladas (muy bien sazonadas) y unos tacos de camarón con chutney de piña deliciosos! Volvería a comer ahí.
Respecto a protocolos: tienen pila de lavado de manos a la entrada, las mesas están espaciadas y el lugar es muy ventilado.

Desde fuera no lo parece, pero una vez entras esta genial, la comida super rica y muy bien de precio.
Repetimos para probar los patacones y la hamburguesa de pescado, estaba todo muy bueno, pero para mi lo mejor la hamburguesa negra y los nachos ovejeros

Deliciosa comida y trato inmejorable. Además atendieron estupendamente a nuestra bebé.

Sitio acogedor, a un precio excelente y 100% recomendado. Tanto como para locales como para extranjeros. Se comer muy rico a un precio excelente. La comida tiene un sabor muy agradable y el hombre que lo gestiona y nos atendió, es muy agradable!!
Me encanto todo lo que comimos, pero lo mejor de todo el batido!!! Que fresco!!!
Estuvimos en el aniversario con música de ambiente genial!
Probamos el ceviche y la hamburguesa oveja negra. Ambos increíbles.
Ahh y al salir del parking que tienen enfrente, donde el campo. Se nos quedó el coche atascado en un barrizal y vinieron tanto los dueños como ticos y nos ayudaron a sacar el vehículo.
Desde luego un lugar al que si algún día vuelvo a Costa Rica, volveré a hacer una parada
