La Piña, Rio Celeste

Incredible service. Air conditioned room with breakfast provided. Trail behind the property with water access for swimming. Host and help were top notch. Great showers that were hot and with good pressure. We couldn’t have had a better 2 nights. Highly recommend.

This place was amazing! The room was clean and we loved the hiking trails behind the property. The breakfast was soo delicious and the owner was super sweet and helpful! This is a perfect stay if you're planning to visit Río Celeste waterfall!

There is super market across the street and they have kitchen that you can use! Breakfast was excellent and they were asking people if they want to eat more! Room was clean and nice but the biggest game changer was Laundry service included in the room price! we stay in rainforest for one week and didn't have any dry clothes!

This is the best hotel we’ve stayed at in Costa Rica. The rooms are big and we even had flowers in the room! The members of the staff are welcoming and are always there to help. We really enjoyed the lake they have in the back where we saw a lot of frogs and birds. They also took us to the Tenorio National Park (we don’t drive) and explained how to get to the nearby cities by bus. Beware of the bus schedule because buses in Costa-Rica can be tricky and if you don’t make it to Guatuso and then catch a bus to Río Celeste, you may be better off going to Katira (that’s what we did) and walking for an hour to get to the hotel. The road was safe and we spotted some wildlife on the way.

100 out 100!! I never thought I would love a B&B this much. Groundskeeper Katthia and Ronaldo gave such an effort to keep the room clean. We stayed 2 night and they even cleaned the room and changed everything for us on the second day. Didn’t have that experience at the Monteverde same price B&B for the 2nd night. Not only La Piña have AC, they have a very very very clean and organized kitchen with washer and dryer. We invited Katthia family to eat breakfast with us and it was just such a wonderful moment for me and hubby at CR. They put fresh flower in your towel and shape the towel into swan. When we were doing laundry, Katthia insisted to help me to do it free of charge. I just couldn’t believe how sweet she is. Also the guide Eddy for this hotel offer u such a wonderful price for the local tour he can give u. He even spotted rare animal Tapir with my hubby. Also saw my fav sloths, even the two toed one. This hotel plus the experience at Rio Celeste is by far the best thing ever at CR. Way better than super crowded Monteverde and beach area. Please keep the Katthia, Ronaldo and Eddy working for this hotel for good. They make it such a valuable place.

Great place for the stay. Well worth the money. The rooms are clean and neat. The breakfast is delicious. The people working there are awesome.

We also met the owner. He is such a amazing person with grand vision.

I highly recommend this place. I would visit again.

Alojamiento muy bien situado si visitas el Rio Celeste. Además tiene una zona cercana para pasear y darte un baño muy interesante.
Habitaciones correctas y muy limpias.
Los huespedes pueden utilizar la cocina y el frigorífico, que es de gran ayuda.
El desayuno es impresionante, sobre todo para lo que estamos acostumbrados en nuestro viaje por Costa Rica. Tortitas, tostadas, huevos de distintas maneras, salchichas, mermeladas caseras, etc.
Y, por último, la atención fue muy buena, ayudandonos con todas las preguntas y dudas que les planteamos.

Je remercie les personnes qui tiennent cet endroit pour leur générosité, toujours le sourire et prêt à faire plaisir surtout pour le petit déjeuner qui est dingue!! Difficile d avoir faim le midi après y avoir mangé et tellement bon en plus 😁
Les chambres sont très propres avec des petites attentions qui font plaisir.
L' endroit derrière l' hôtel est un petit paradis avec un lac rempli d oiseaux, des colibris, une rivière et un chemin de trail.
Si je devrais dire une critique ça serait le manque de luminosité des chambres et l insonorisation qui peux être mauvaise si les voisins sont bruyant.
Mais en rapport qualité prix je ne peux que recommander a 100%

Leider waren wir nur für eine Nacht in dieser Unterkunft, aber wir haben es total genossen und würden wiederkommen. Die Inhaberin war super freundlich und hat einem alles zur Unterkunft und Umgebung erklärt (auf Spanisch, im Englischen bekommt man nur einen laminierten Zettel).
Die Zimmer waren super in Ordnung, sauber, liebevoll mit frischen Blumen dekoriert und ausreichend für ein paar Nächte.
In der Küche für alle, die super ausgestattet ist, konnten wir sehr gut Kochen und der Gemeinschaftsbereich mit den Hängematten lädt zum Verweilen ein.
HIGHLIGHT: Das Frühstück ist für B&B Verhältnisse in CR der absolute Hammer. Wir bekamen Pancakes, Toast, Würstchen und Ei in sehr großzügigen Mengen. Die hausgemachte Piña Marmelade war auch super lecker.
