Celeste River Cottage

We stayed in the small casita and were very pleaseantly surprised. The small and bigger casitas are surrounded by a small forest that just creates a beautiful scene. We were able to walk livestock and even have a horse ride for our daughter. By staying here you have access to the Rio Celeste, just a 400 m walk through a very scenic and delightfully cared for walkway full of flowers, plants and birds. Their two Dogs Raul and Pedro walked with us and made us feel safe. Ileana was so gentle and kind, and took care of anything we needed. The casita had fans, kitchennette, full fridge, dishes. In sum, you cannot be dissapointed. It is simple, just how we wanted it to be.

Perfect host, she was very helpful, showed us a perfect place to swim in the blue river. Good local food-breakfast. Nice and clean accommodation.

The cabin is located in beautiful surroundings, and in a quiet area with a few rural neighbors. The garden outsiders blooming and we could enjoy the birds, and solitude from the porch. The facility was clean and easily bedded our family of five. There was a small washer/spinner that worked for small loads but the humidity delays drying. We were close to the entrance to Rio Celeste, maybe 20 - 30 minutes which is important to beat the crowds. Juan was helpful in getting us situated. He suggested a local chocolate farm tour and that was a delight. Take advantage of this family run farm and great chocolate while you are there. The Rio Celeste river does run close to this location just down the road but when we were there was running full and really not conductible to swim in but beautiful to see. Enjoyed our stay and hope you do too.

Lieu plein de charme. Maison de campagne style chalet, dans un cadre de verdure et naturel resplendissant. Maison très bien équipée, et Xinia la proprio qui vit dans la maison voisine nous a accueilli de la meilleure façon. Plein d'activité, excursion a faire dans le coin. Rio Celeste, volcan tenorio, Arenal, tout se trouve dans les parages. Prévoyez quand même un véhicule tout terrain car les routes sont pas bonnes.
