These guys were awesome. So much different than our prior experience in Brown’s Canyon Colorado. Much narrower and bigger drops here in CR. We had two rafts and two great guides. Was a long ride but definitely worth the time and money invested. Highly recommended to anyone visiting.

We had an excellent time on the river with Mario. Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. The photos taken were awesome and well worth getting. The lunch that was served was tasty! I would highly recommend this company. All of the other guides were also friendly and fun to be around.

What a wonderful day, and it was all because of our guide Jason! Professional, skilled, funny, knowledgeable, and always laughing! Loved him and his sense of humor! He pointed out trees, monkeys, birds and spiders with an explanation about all of the. I dont think any other of the rafters had as much fun as we did with Jason. I wanted to take him home! Got hit by a paddle in nose and he was so concerned making sure that I was OK! Lunch and Juan was also fantastic as our bus guide. The rafting was my favorite day in Costa Rica all because of Jason.

One of the best experiences we had in Costa Rica. We went out with David and Joseph Reyes. They were great, fun, and funny! We went as a family of 5 with kids 15,14, and 11. They loved it. I was a little nervous about the 12 foot drop at the end but it isn’t bad at all. It doesn’t feel like a big drop. Highly recommend anyone doing this tour !! Gracias

Our first time ever white water rafting. We were blessed to have chewy as our river guide. He was the best. Spoke good English, pointed out a lot of nature and birds. Had real good humor. He had us participate and do quite a bit of rowing too. I highly recommend this company and chewy. The lunch afterword was Terrific too. Thanks for making our trip extra special.

Our group had a terrific time white water rafting. The river was fun, our guides Allan and Jose Andreas were excellent. My niece was going for her first time and I have been many times and we all had a wonderful time. Definitely recommend.

5/5 recommend for river rafting. Our river rafting guide was Luis! We love Luis on our raft. He was awesome, super nice and awesome to talk to, and a knowledgeable guide. He told us when to go forward, down, talked about nature, pointed out birds and trees and especially pointed out the rapids.

We got a good time and got class 1-4. Good if you've never rafted before and want to experience it. It was pretty chill and thrill fun at times. So a good mix.

At the end of the ride you get snacks and a juice box and then when you get back to their base you get a yummy lunch!! Yummy sweet plantains and talapia. You get ice cream too! It was a great lunch to end the day.

Then our driver Jose who had to drive us 2 hours back and forth each way since we were staying at the playa conchal area drove us back.

Highly recommend and the people are awesome!

What an ADVENTURE! My wife and I booked with Tenorio adventure company to experience true rafting in Costa Rica! Our guide Mario was the life of the party from beginning to end. Not only did he provide us with entertainment, but he took the time to make sure my wife and I were safe, educated us on native plants, the history of the river, stopped so that we could enjoy the howler monkeys, and full experience what the river had to offer. Mario definitely made the experience for us but I could tell that all the guides genuinely love what they do and are happy to answer any questions.

Beyond just rafting the guides made sure we had snacks, that we were comfortable and felt safe. After the long day rafting we returned to the restaraunt where we were provided with a fantastically delicious authentic meal and dessert. The level of hospitality shown to us was above and beyond, cannot thank them enough.

I cannot recommend these guys enough, probably the best part of our trip (day 3 of 8), it'll be hard to top this.

No matter where you are in Costa Rica, you have to come float the river with this excellent guided tour. It will be the highlight of whatever you do in Costa Rica. The guides are excellent. The rapids were amazing and fun was had by all. From the very start of booking the trip, it was easy. They were able to accommodate changing the date because of our canceled flight. Everyone of their staff is professional, and very kind. Their guides were extremely knowledgeable about the river and are very pro at rafting. I can’t wait to return when my kids are older, and have them experiences with us.

Absolutely had the best time ever! Myself and 3 friends went rafting with the best guide Louis! We could not stop laughing and all enjoyed it. The rapids were pretty large but 3/4 were new to white water rafting and the crew make sure you are all safe and have fun!

This was our third time rafting with Tenorio Adventure and we loved every minute of it. Our guide, Luis, was awesome and so much fun. He really made the trip!! Scenery was great, meal fantastic, wonderful service. Everything was awesome, would highly recommend!!

I was very pleased to join Tenorio Adventure Co. via a third party booking agency. The entire crew of drivers, guides, chefs and everyone assisting was very professional and spoke both English and Spanish to assist with any questions. Various groups of families or friends signed up separately and the guides ensured each group that booked together stayed together in their own raft. Because I was solo, I paired up with two guides who were Yeiner and Sergio and super friendly. The group of guides also took turns taking photos throughout the river ride at various drop points. The group charges $40 for the photos they take at the three drop points. It was a bit pricey for me so I didn’t see the photos and don’t know how they turned out (the ones attached I personally took at calm parts), but this could be a nice option for a family. The entire route was fun and I felt it was good for me as a beginner. There were even shallow parts where you could swim or jump in. After rafting there was a snack with fruit crackers and water, as well as bathrooms with running water and a shower. We ended the trip with lunch and the dishes were delicious. The lunch came included in my package.

Best rafting we’ve ever done and we’ve done a few. Bit of a journey from our location but worth it. Our guides Chuy and Luis were fantastic, fun and experienced guides. Rapids were awesome, food, snacks, etc. tips: water shoes, towels and leave belongings behind as no lock up. Left in cars and it was all fine but if you are a nervous sort just don’t bring.

These guys are great! Roy is wonderful and picked us up from where we were staying. Fun adventurous rafting experience with nice snacks and food 👌🏻

The four of us had so much fun rafting with Mario. The river had many rapids and elevation drops. We saw monkeys, iguana, fish, and rainbow toucans. The river is beautiful, a fantastic way to spend the day and see Costa Rica.

Had an awesome time for my first whitewater rafting trip. Good mix of rapids with some gentle parts to the river and a brief detour to see a little known 25-foot waterfall and a swim in the pool at its base. Mario, our guide, was awesome. I would highly recommend this to everyone.

Wonderful river float! Our guide was so knowledgeable about the local flora and fauna. We saw so many animals! Kids loved it. Please note - we did the slow float not the rapids for greater wildlife sightings. Fantastic experience!

First time doing white water rafting and definitely not the last. Had a total blast!

Our guide was very polite, knowledgeable, attentive and funny.

Price is very hard to beat. For just over 100$ USD per person, we got transportation back and forth between Monteverde and Tenorio, an almost 10 miles rafting adventure and a lunch on our way back.

If you are a few hours around Tenorio, don’t miss out!

Had a great excursion on the Rio Tenorio with our group of 16. We had three boats led by Chuy (our guide) and two other guides. They were very good at leading the boats and knew a ton about the local flora and fauna. We saw all kinds of animals from birds, bats, iguanas, monkeys to crocs.

We also had a splendid meal at the on premise restaurant, those pork chops were fantastic.

Had an unbelievable time and thought they were incredible! Professional, fun and wonderfully knowledgeable - the pics don't even do justice how beautiful the river is. We saw White Face cappucines, Local Herons, Caytis, Falcons, Vultures and more along the way. Our guide Jason was SO much fun and the best host! Roy who drove us too was an amazing guide - would love to come back and do again !
