Restaurante Brisas del Lago

This place is truly a hidden gem. Without a doubt one of the best restaurants in the area and one of my favorites in Costa Rica. Excellent food at good prices and always friendly service. Milton and Erica are the best 😊

We had a delicious meal. Thai, fish, chicken, and steak, plus veggies and potatoes. None of us had a scrap of food left on our plates. Afterwards, we went into town for ice cream which was good, but we kept talking about our MEAL, and how amazing it was.

The atmosphere is wonderful, soft music playing and already decorated for Christmas.

Milton, our server, was pleasant and helpful.

I highly recommend the Margherita fish.

The restaurant doesn’t have an alcohol license so you have to go across the street to buy your own drinks and then bring it to your table. Always go for the Chicken Teriyaki as it’s the best dish.

Came here on the drive from Viento Fresco Waterfalls to Rio Celeste. So glad we stopped by! The chef made accomodations for my gluten free spouse (tricolor rotini in cream sauce). I had the bruschetta appetizer and the Thai shrimp entree. Amazing dish!!! For dessert we shared the maracuya (passion fruit) mouse, coconut flan, and brownie with ice cream. The best was the coconut flan. Also enjoyed the green tea with mint, it comes iced.

What a great meal and for a wonderful price. Ate there after going to a few other places that were closed. The steak was amazing. Super clean and friendly waiter. Can tell they really care about making a delicious meal. Would go out of my way to eat here again on my next Costa Rican visit.

The best food at Costa Rica. Not only because we just saved ourself after wondering in the jungle for several hours 😀, but just because it is!

Wonderful steaks, baked potato had a sauce made with a hint of mustard, fresh and complex side salad, and delicious vino rojo. Service was excellent, and delicioso postres.

Amazing food here - ceviche was the best and filet mignon (for under $10 USD) was top notch, coconut flan was tasty too. Came back here few times; excellent service - highly recommend Brisas Del Lago.

My husband and I highly recommend this cute, little restaurant in walking distance from our rented home in Tilaran. The host is gracious and friendly, the food is fantastic, and the price is great for all the food that you get. It is the perfect place to eat after a day of adventure!

We have eaten here many times. The food has always been great. Our favorite is the Pasta with Shrimp Thai style.

Great food and service. We went there twice in one day for lunch and dinner. The chicken salad and the chicken with mustard and spinach sauce were both delicious. Other guests loved the cordon blue and the Thai shrimp fettuccine. The coconut flan was also really good. The cherry cheesecake was good but more like a mousse,

Having a culinary degree it is often hard to please me when it comes to creativity, preparation and taste. This place rocks! I had the Thai shrimp, my partner Chicken Cordon Bleu. If you love good food you need to stop in this place. One of the BEST in CR.

Delicious, consistent and very high quality ingredients. The staff are well trained and friendly. Easily one of our favorite restaurants in all of Costa Rica. Well worth a visit any time you are in the area.

Drove past the micr brewery sign and just had to turn around and stop. Good decision. Some good beer (hard to come by in CR) and proper tacos (also hard to find in CR) with actually hot sauce that isn’t pure vinegar. Awesome view of the lake.

Very delicious, quality food! We ate here twice during our 1 day/1 night stay in the area. The ceviche is the best we've had in Costa Rica!

Tyrone makes the most delicious and tasty food I have eaten in Costa Rica.

I have a severe reaction to salt, high blood pressure, lactose and gluten intolerance. It's hard for me to eat at many restaurants.

For the past two years, Tyrone has prepared food to meet my dietary needs and it's so delicious, and full of flavor, minus salt.

Thank you Tyrone and the entire staff of Las Brisas for keeping me healthy and helping me to enjoy the pleasure of food again.

We were saying about 3 minutes away and frankly did not expect such a wonderful restaurant so close by. Some meals were excellent and fairly priced. My wife and I tried pretty much everything on the menu and loved them all.

This is an absolute hidden gem and totally worth the ride. The food looked so enticing we dug in before I could take a pic. A must try is the fish filet with shrimps in curry sauce, mmm très magnifique! The smoothie and milkshake were pretty darn amazeballs too :)
