Hotel Puerto San Luis

The hotel room was very large and clean. The included breakfast, rice and beans, fried plantain, scrambled eggs, cheese and coffee, was really delicious and filling. The hotel is on an inlet of Lake Arenal, with a beautiful view. Oh, and the price was very reasonable.

Had a great experience at this hotel. The room was very clean and had a great air conditioner. Our group enjoyed the restaurant for dinner and the Chifrijo was amazing. The pool table next to the bar was also nice to have. The buffet breakfast upstairs on our final day was delicious.

My husband and I live locally, in Tronadora. We have eaten at the hotel restaurant on a number of occasions, and every time the food has been very good. My favourite is the fettuccine with ham, cheese and mushrooms. For a small fee you can use the pool all day, even if you are not staying at the hotel. A lovely way to spend a hot afternoon.

I live down the road from this quiet, charming, lake front hotel and visit several times a week in order to swim in the refreshing Arenal waters. After a good swim I bask in the sun on the expansive green lawn that slopes gently down to the shore. If I wanted to rent jet ski's, kayaks, paddle boards or paddle boats I could and I have with no trouble. It helps to know a little Spanish but everyone is so nice they don't mind playing charades to help you get what you need. When I say "everyone" its usually just a few key workers everyday since the resort is only busy on special holidays or conventions. It's not like any "resort" you've seen in the US or fancy 5/star Caribbean sprawl so keep your expectations in perspective. If you want to visit a place that's clean, friendly, tranquil and off the beaten path, surrounded by water and mountains and volcanos this is it. Pura Vida!

Nos hospedamos por una noche acá , tuvimos una maravillosa cena y los cócteles dé Emanuel estaban muy ricos.
Dormimos como en casa la habitación muy confortable y la vista increíble .

Sus instalaciones son muy cómodas y hermosas con vista desde todos sus puntos al maravillosos Lago Arenal. El servicio es amable y atento, disfruté muchísimo mi estadía junto a mi familia. En especial en su deliciosa piscina y en un paseo en bote por el Lago!

Un établissement très bien situé presque caché sur les rives du majestueux lac Arénal.
Un accueil très correct, des chambres rénovées pour certaines et un bar restaurant avec billard. Une cuisine locale Costaricienne de très bon goût. En plus une très gde salle de réception pour vos événements familiaux, avec une réservation longtemps à l'avance. Nous vous recommandons ce havre paradisiaque.

Un lugar hermoso con Vista al Lago Fácil acceso en cualquier vahiculo. Instalaciones muy limpias, exelente servicio, el personal muy amigable. Es ideal para realizar eventos sociales!

Excelente locación y servicio. Lo que deberían mejorar es la calidad de la comida. Los términos de la carne no estaban correctos. Solicitamos un Churrasco medio rojo y un New York Steak rojo y ambos fueron servidos en término medio. Los precios son accesibles.

Buenísimo el lugar! La infraestructura preciosa el servicio impecable. Rentamos kayaks para explorar el lago, usamos la piscina con una vista increíble y pedimos un chifrijo buenísimo en el restaurante! Súper recomendado
