Hotel Le Voltaire

I have stayed at Le Voltaire several times now and it is always an excellent experience!
The rooms are beautiful, clean, and tastefully decorated, and the service is exemplary. Eric and his colleagues are great! The breakfast is simple and continental with fruit, bread and butter, juice, and excellent coffee, all of which can be a nice change from gallo pinto if you've been in Costa Rica for a while.
Also, the location is unbeatable, situated in a relatively quiet (for San Jose) neighborhood at the end of a cul-de-sac, but within walking distance to bus stops, a nice super market, shops, restaurants, tourist/artisans market, museums, and downtown San Jose.
This is a great place to stay for one night while passing through or for several nights while visiting San Jose!!
