Hacienda Pinilla

Hacienda Pinilla is a gorgeous property consisting of 4500 acres of true Guanacaste beauty. We stayed in Casa Tica Linda and will surely stay there again. The staff and security were very friendly, the property was well manicured and the golf course was very nice to play. Excellent vacation property and highly recommended.

Well, where do I start? If you wanna be surrounded by nature in a peaceful and cozy environment, this is the place to be. Secluded yet not far from the main beach town in Tamarindo. Bring your own transportation though! There is just so much to explore! There is a chance you might see a coyote or a baby deer wandering about. Cows and horses are a common sight here. Try the horseback riding tour offered at El Establo, you will start going through the green, lush area of the Hacienda and end up in the beach. Amazing! Make sure you rent your place at the main administrative offices located next to the golf course in order to get free concierge services and detailed guest support while on site. Highly recommended experience.

Really liked the fact that they have so much nature around. Lots of areas dedicated to jungle and forests with gives beautiful mountain bike trails. The beach club is right in front of a really good right pointbreak. The Villa we stayed at was very comfortable and felt like a home more than a beach villa. Overall we had a great time

My buddy has a place near the JW Marriott. The ground are well kept and maintained. Easy access to the beach and signage is better posted than most places down here..

We absolutely loved our stay!! Hacienda Pinilla is a wonderful development that offers beautiful beaches, awesome bike and horse trails, and great golf. We went with our seventeen month old and the she did great in the home. We will be back for sure!

Can’t say enough about HP…truly a special place. We spent 10 days here in a Palma Resl Villa. This place is absolutely beautiful…we had all the comforts of home in a tropical setting. We may even look into buying here and using it down the road for retirement.

Had a fabulous stay in Hacienda Pinilla. We spent our time between the JW Marriott, which was outstanding, and some VRBO’s in the Hacienda Pinilla development. This is a very special place. You can hit several beaches, golf on a 18 hole Mike Young designed course, mountain bike on miles of trails, horse back ride on the beach or trails, use the beach club… and on and on. The whole development is gated making it very secure day or night and it offers everything you need. We went for walks every day and saw monkeys, parrots and other wildlife. They even have a convenience store right in the development which has everything from basic groceries to wine, beer and alcohol.

Tamarindo is only about 15 minutes away and is a great little town. Tons of restaurants and local bars. All are very affordable. You get a good taste of how nice the Costa Rican people are. They are very proud of their country and understand the importance of tourism to their lives.

The only criticism I have is the road leading into the compound is pretty rough. It is only a few miles but riddled with pot holes. You really have to go slow through that one area. But once you hit the actual Hacienda Pinilla development the roads are excellent.

Best area to stay in guanacaste if u are interested in been away from society. Its the best combo of ocean n forest place to stay i have ever seen. All the costa rica wild life u would want to see mayne minus the sleugh. Excellent for kids to explore excellent for mountain bike trail ridimg n the most isolated beuatiful beaches in costa rica.

Easy acces to beautiful beaches, the Marriott hotel has several restaurants which are expensive but offer good food options. Close to tamarindo which offers a lot of restaurants and stores.

We have a house on Hacienda Pinilla. Lots of wildlife. Beautiful beaches, mountain bike trail. Worth the visit

Beautiful place, out of the city center but close enough to walk like 25 mins to the Trevi Fountain

We went on a guided hike from this location and ate lunch here. impressive Place would love to go back again
