I am beyond grateful that I took the leap to attend Rythmia. Like so many, I was walking in circles, knowing there was something more to life but having no idea how to access it. At rythmia, I found the way out of my loops. Guided by the most dedicated and authentic team of staff and a medicine family I was shown how to find all the answers I had and will ever have… by looking within. They empowered me to heal my heart, find my joy, my power, and access the greatest gift of life -Love. I have been liberated from my fear inhibiting my life, and I will never feel alone again. Every stranger I met at Rythmia became family as we all experienced the undeniable connection we share with each other, our Mother Earth, and all of life, and the miracles we are capable of when we are willing to open our hearts to feel and heal.

Just finished the most amazing week at Rythmia! Truly feel like I did years worth of therapy in a week and felt extremely safe and well cared for. I was hesitant to dive into plant medicine but Rythmia gives you all the support and resources you need as well as some AMAZING shamans and staff creating such a beautiful environment. Rooms were great, food was amazing, grounds were breathtaking. Couldn’t recommend this place more

Oh, where do I even begin to describe the absolutely transformational experience I had at Rythmia Life Advancement Center? I walked in, a soul frayed at the edges, suffocated by nearly a decade of sobriety that felt void of the love and success I was yearning for. I often hear people saying there is no instruction manual for raising children. Rythmia is an instruction manual for living your best life. Learn how to free yourself from opinions of others and yourself. Free yourself from the emotional baggage that drags you down, whether you know it or not. I was here 5 years ago and got the calling to return. Best decision I have ever made in my entire life. Thank you Rythmia for everything and thank you Gerry for creating such a safe place for people to become whonwe truly are.

In a few short, but intensive days, Rhythmia changed my life for the better.

The program itself is designed to help you gain a better sense of self, and to build a positive relationship with that self. It's difficult to articulate exactly how the program does this, but it's essentially a combination of plant medicine therapy, combined with a carefully designed process, including a highly caring staff and supportive staff.

When I say staff, I'm talking about STAFF. Everyone. Every single person working here is extraordinarily helpful, supportive, and even loving.

The food is well prepared and super healthy and clean, and yet still providing lots of great choices for everyone.

The accommodations and overall property are beautiful and serene.

What a beautiful, magical place! Their 7-day program which combines ayahuasca ceremonies, breathwork, yoga, meditation, classes and even dance of liberation has transformed my life. I gained so many life-changing insights during the ayahuasca ceremonies, and the integration classes helped me understand how to use them to make a lasting change in my life. The medicine ceremonies were hard work for me, but with the help of the amazing healers and facilitators, I knew I was in excellent hands and always so well cared for. Finally, their grounds and amenities are top-notch. I will always be so grateful to the staff at Rythmia!

I am suprised to see so few reviews. This week was the 3rd time I have spent a week there in 6 years. It is a life changing experience. There are few words I can imagine to support anyone interested in going. Be brave, trust your heart and have the greatest adventures of your life.

I am going to be vulnerable & honest here in hopes that this review will resonate with someone/anyone and you can get the help I did.
Why I went- Mid Life crisis, depression, I was lost in life, no more joy, gratitude, I did not really know who I was anymore or where I was going. I was in a fog all day, horrible self talk about myself. My mom has passed away, my son was now an adult and doing his own thing. I did not have passion, was searching for a path a purpose in this new phase of my life. I am 47. I started drinking probably a bit to much, I gained 50 lbs. in 2 years. My husband was almost begging me to get help, any help.
My sister in law suggest I go to a retreat. I did not need massages or facials or hiking. I needed mind, body, soul work.
I saw this Rythmia website and opened it up. Something in my 66heart just pulled me towards it. 3 weeks later I am on a plane crying headed towards Costa R56ica.

I wont really share my journey while I was there because that is very personal and is personal to each who go. Although while your there you share everything with the others your sharing this expierence with.

While there, I was never alone and I felt safe and loved and in a space that if I wanted to share I could. Everyone who goes was dealing with there own demons what ever that was for them.
We had 4 nights of ceremonies and lots of classes during the day to, Head to toe I was taken care of. The staff automatically knew my name after a day. They meet every need may have. No one there just works there. It is a passion for them. It is a well designed program intended to give you everything you need when you need it.
I left with my soul saved, my heart healed, I know who I am and what my path and purpose is in life. I saw how to let go and keep the past in the past forever. I healed my childhood trauma. I found joy, gratitude, peace in my soul, I found the love for myself that had been missing for so long. I left knowing how worthy I am. I could go on and on. I even invite anyone who wants to message me about this to do so, I can answer any questions. I fired my therapist the moment I got cell coverage back in the US. If I had been on any anti depressants ( which I probably should have been) I would never take them again.

Rythmia is truly a magical place. By far, the most profound experience of my life(next to the birth of my son of course).
Gerry Powell and his excellent staff make you feel so welcome, the food is incredibly delicious, the spa is beautiful, the grounds and accommodations are so peaceful. You feel so safe & supported participating in the plant medicine ceremonies. The inspirational classes, yoga, and breath work sessions are amazing.

Most important week of my life. Please do not come if you have problems in life, things you need to work on. Please only come if you are going down a very dark road and have great traumas to heal. If you are truly hurting everyday for years on end. It is not for the faint of heart, it is torture, but beautiful and worth it, if you truly need it and are truly willing to suffer greatly. It is a marathon, like climbing my Everest. It will push you farther than you have ever been pushed, but at the end you will have peace and love all around you. You can be the person you always wished you could be.

The staff are AMAZING, I love each of them with all of my heart! Gerry, thank you for sharing this place with those in need, for the betterment of humankind. Please be respectful to each of the staff during your visit. Be patient, dedicated and humble during your visit and you will get what you need.

The resort itself is beautiful, the spa, the food, all the additional amenities offered are top notch. The people are so incredibly loving and kind. They remember your name and genuinely care about how you are doing.
Although Gerry was not at the resort during my stay, his staff didn’t skip a beat on providing the best experience I have ever had.
Not only are you hitting the reset button you are uncovering years of heaviness that life brings. Please go to every class and meeting they offer. So much healing and so much community. I went alone and left with life long friends. My roommate was even from my hometown. This experience was so strategically planned without even knowing how people would respond, why because they trust the medicine. I am forever grateful. The shamans and their family are so beautiful, I have never felt so safe and loved in my life. I was shown who I had become, I was merged back with my soul and my heart healed. You don’t even realize the stuff it will pull out until you are there. Please don’t deny yourself the opportunity to be released from the prison our minds can keep us in.

Indescribable complete experience where the resort was spectacular, everything was clean, the staff was so loving and nice. The food was exquisite (probably the best I have ever had). I love this place. The staff, the space, the food, the classes- everything was incredible. I had an intense experience outside of ceremony and I needed help quite often. When I called for assistance, someone was there within minutes. I had a few full days where someone was at my side at all times just to make sure I was okay and feeling safe and supported. I did not participate in the final ceremony night and they had someone come to my room to check on me every 2 hours. The amount of love and care they offered me was just amazing. That extra support they make available was something that I really needed in order for my healing to unfold the way it needed to. I am forever grateful. Yes, it is expensive, but wow! They go above and beyond and it was worth every penny.

I was torn between coming here and going to the jungle for an experience like this. Mostly over the cost. But i have to say that this was the BEST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE!!! I felt like my entire life happened just to bring me to this place and these moments. I will be forever grateful. I went into Rythmia with high expectations after reading all the reviews online and spending the most I ever had on a one week trip. I know having expectations is a bad idea and it just sets you up for disappointment but even with high expectations I was blown away. This place is heaven on earth and was worth every penny, I already rebooked before even leaving. These have been the best teachers I've ever had for breathwork and yoga. I had out of body experiences every time we had a class. The classes during the day set you up for success. And the plant medicine ceremonies are in a safe environment with many eyes on you. I counted the last night and there was 18 shaman and helpers looking over everyone. They were all so attentive and were there anytime anyone needed anything. The medical staff was knowledgeable and thorough and you feel supported the entire time. I love you guys!! Thank you so much

The staff at Rythmia are nothing short of Angels on Earth. I was able to make so many positive changes in my life after my week long stay. I arrived a scared, wounded individual who lost the ability to love and be loved. I left with a new found appreciation and gratitude for the world around me that 100 years of therapy could not have given me. The people there genuinely care for all of the guests. From the moment I arrived at Rythmia, a sacred space, I was greeted with wonderful people expressing genuine love and care.
Rythmia was beautiful, healing and transformational. The staff, owners and guests were opened minded and open hearted. They have created a very special place to make you feel like you are "home". Not only did I experience my miracle, I watched others exchange a language of the heart. Laughter, tears, relationships and magic happen in this center! I have made friends and received more then I could of imagined! The treatments, workshops, speakers, cuisine and environment are not to be missed! I can't wait to go back❤

What I love about my Rythmia experience is yes, I got my miracle but best of all that miracle is lasting forever! It's been 4 weeks since my visit and I'm seeing new insights and self discoveries daily. Reverend Michael teaches to ask, "What is seeking to emerge?" The answer within my miracle was 'More me--the real me.' As a seeker, bereaved mom, nurse, with deep spiritual curiosity, Rythmia is a healing salve for my soul! I can't wait to go again and again!

Some of the nicest people to guide you through a wonderful experience. How else would've been able to see what my dying mom saw when she passed. Exceptional preparation that I feel you wouldn't be able to get anywhere else. I felt so much love from the staff and amazing Shamans it is unreal. I'm so thankful for being guided to this experience as I feel so previleged to be guided there to such a loving nurturing environment, which I think makes a huge difference under this medicine.
