Don’t walk but run to this restaurant! Ms. Caroline was so welcoming and sweet. My food was very fresh and I haven’t had red snapper this good in a long time. Everything was a 10/10 for sure and I’m from America so her speaking English made things so much easier. Thanks again for the hospitality and amazing food. We will be returning for sure. The prices were great as well!

Our last night in CR, and this was the place to end it! Alexander is the owner and made us feel like royalty with the treatment and service! He had so much to offer in knowledge about the area and community! And the FOOOOOOD!!! Flavor is something that is NOT missing from CR. The food here is fresh and allows your tastebuds to go into shock from all the incredible flavors! Hit it up!!

We went to eat there the first night we landed in San Jose, the food was incredible and so were the people who work there. If we had stayed in San Jose longer we definitely would have gone back! Can’t recommend enough.

Best food we had in our 2 weeks in Costa Rica. We felt like we visited old friends who treated us with such warmth and love. Everything we ordered was home cooked to perfection and it tasted delicious.

We even got to bond playing family games while waiting for our food.

A must visit while in San Jose.

I got the chicken fajitas with fries and it was delicious! The owner Caroline was extremely friendly and made me feel like I was at home. I will be back to try the burrito!

Got the fried fish & was absolutely delicious! Can taste how fresh it was, super crispy on the outside & moist on the inside. Just the way that it’s supposed to be cooked!!! & very reasonably priced. $17.72 US dollars. The same meal would easily be $30-35 & chances not as good!!!

An amazing food experience. The best chicken I’ve had paired perfectly with rice/beans, salad and fried pineapple. So good, so glad we went there for dinner. Amazing service such lovely people

The food was absolutely delicious. The ladies that attended me here very respectful and kind hearted. If you have never visited the city of Limon in Costa Rica, and would love to try the food there. This restaurant is a good place to eat, which will give you a good taste of the food that comes from the Caribbean in the city of Limón

Food was delicious - made slow and from scratch with high quality ingredients. This was evident just by taste, and confirmed when the owner - Caroline - came out and chatted with us and told us about it. She showed us the fresh grated coconut from which she makes the coconut milk that serves as the base of so many flavors. No canned stuff here. Fresh coconut milk is so laborious to make but the flavor difference is night and day. Caroline is a friendly, interesting, and passionate woman and we enjoyed talking with her after we ate. The other staff members were friendly and attentive too. This was our last meal in Costa Rica before heading back to the states and we were very happy we chose this place for dinner. The seating area was a bit loud next to a busy street and really breezy so I was a bit cold, but I highly recommend this place for the food. Te agradecemos Caroline!

You can tell they people who cook this food are passionate about it. So much flavor and everything was delicious. We had to go back to get more of the sauce it was so good. We ate at much more expensive restaurants on our trip but this was my favorite place by far. Wonderful people, amazing food.

Honestly one of the best food experiences I’ve ever had, the mother and son came out and talked to us about how they make the food and how much they love making it. Couldn’t recommend coming here any more!!

I absolutely recommend going there! The food and the drinks were absolutely delicious and freshly made. The portions were really big as well. I couldn't stop eating and I still couldn't finish my food. And to top it all off, the owner was very friendly and welcoming. We absolutely loved it.

Eating Rice and Beans here was delightful. It had the Caribbean taste we all look for - something not all Caribbean places have. I can definitely come back at this restaurant for more.

The place has an excellent food, and the chef and host were very kind to us. She let us know about the preparation process, and how she takes care of using natural ingredients (not processed food), which is great for our health.

Best fish of my life I had never eaten the whole fish before but Alex cut it perfectly. The dipping sauce was amazing as well. Thanks Alex your "Texas ride or die friends"
