Waterman’s Surf & Sport

Always love visiting this shop! The ice cream and coffee they serve are delicious, and service is top notch. They have surf boards, rash guards, and can set you up on several types of tourist adventures as well. One stop easy shop to check off several must dos when visiting Tamarindo.

Great little place to rent beach chairs for the day/week! They have the cute Tommy bahama ones that are backpacks and super convenient. You can also rent bikes (beach cruisers) here and get coffee, souvenirs, etc.

We randomly stopped to buy a hat and coffee, we spent an hour buying gifts and chatting with Marcella who was very helpful in sharing tips about the area. We booked an estuary tour through her and we loved it.

As a frequent traveler, the customer service here was absolutely disgusting to say the least. There were many different instances just at this location which really left us in shock. I would not recommend spending a dime at this location. Always have someone with you when going here and be very wary.
