Cafe La Tabla

Loved the food, coffee, service and atmosphere! The eggs and bacon were cooked perfectly, and I’m not sure what the side of sauce was, but it complemented the rice and beans (which I’m not normally a fan of, but I totally devoured this). Even my iced americano was special, the ice cubes were frozen coffee so the flavor keeps going when it melts. :) I ordered another to-go, it was so good. The place is small and quaint, and one of the few in Tamarindo that felt more authentic instead of a like a tourist trap! 💜💜💜

The best breakfast in Tamarindo! Basic, fresh choices for breakfast and lunch; warm, friendly service; great coffee; reasonable prices. The small cafe, with seating inside and out, is located next to the Flores Hotel and is tucked behind a large, beautiful tree. A great find!

Great food and portion sizes are LARGE. Friendly service. Reasonable prices. We ordered the Plato tipico, burrito, a papaya/dragon fruit juice and an iced coffee. We enjoyed everything!
They also have some little souvenirs (jams/honey/mugs) for sale in the store!
Would definitely come back if I was visiting tamarindo for longer

Quaint atmosphere. Service & breakfast were perfect. First place where the gallo pinto taste freshly made (vs prepackaged). Coffee was perfect! We will return during our stay.

Great little place for breakfast and coffee. The typical breakfast was one of the best I’ve had! The service was great and it doesn’t take forever like a lot of Costa Rica restaurants.

La Tabla Tipical breakfast was excellent. Fresh squeezed orange juice. Bread made in house. Small place but recommend.

Cute coffee shop with delicious coffee, and a banging breakfast burrito! Although we didn’t try them, the desserts looked scrumptious! Definitely will be back!
