Great local place to have some traditional Costa Rican food, you must try the pork chicharon, but everything on the menu is great, they do fresh juices we had the traditional lemonade which was green in colour but tasted delicious sweet and sour

Although no one speaks english- the food and service are so good that I must recommend. I had the vegetarian nachos and quesedilla and everything was excellent. There is also free parking.

Went on mother's day so it was a bit crowded and there was a wait but it was worth it. The food was great, inexpensive, and there was live music! The parking is a little crazy around there but you can find free street parking nearby. Really nice Costa Rican cuisine!

Went to the Escazu Laly's on a Friday night with friends visiting from Germany. Great food and value. My friends loved everything we got. The Chifrijo is good, and doesn't have too much cilantro. The gallos de arracache were also very good. Always a nice experience, great spot for out-of-towner's who want some local flavor, literally and figuratively. Very affordable, variety of food.

Wow! Food is so good here! We had churrasco and lomito and totally recommend them. Tender, juicy and full of flavor!

Went here for our very first restaurant in Costa Rica and it didn’t disappoint !

Excellent Costa Rican food and wonderful service. If you want to try multiple things just get the small portions, but if just one thing looks good get the big portion. The pozole is amazing and I highly recommend it.

This place is a great option to taste typical costarican bar food, they have a great various selection of bocas (some of them you won't normally find in most similar places). Everything in the menu is pretty tasty and the serving are very generous. The service is very helpful and kind, everything is pretty clean and ordered. The only lowlight is that you have to be lucky to get a parking spot here

Good food, great service and reasonable prices. I started off with a bowl of ceviche as an appetizer, ordered the grilled sea bass with plantains and gallos pinto as the main course and drank a strawberry smoothie for dessert. Everything was made with fresh ingredients and was filling and light. I wish I could find the degree of quality and freshness in USA.

Delicious and hearty meal! I loved my mash potatoes and filet mignon I ordered. Paired with a cold cola, so good! Friendly staff. There was a language barrier since that part of town wasn’t that touristy but we managed to get by. You pay at the bar area with the machine. I recommend.

We took my mother to La Casona de Laly for her birthday and we had a great time. The service Luis provided to us was great and the food was amazing as well.

Super friendly staff. Best typical in Escazu. Great priced cocktails. Music, when they have it, was great. Full of locals... consistently great food.

The food is delicious. People line up to eat here. The wait isn’t much. There’s enough tables. I went on a Sunday and it was packed, waited about 10min to be seated. Very fast paced service.
