Sheraton San Jose Hotel

Great hotel, friendly staff with helpful service from all staff. This is one of the best Marriott's among many we have stayed at. Two persons need special mention for this: Chef Anthony and Miguel in the executive lounge. Anthony went above and beyond to get me outstanding vegetarian dishes (which I needed) at a 5 star creativity level I might say. Miguel was always cheerful and happy to share ideas of what we should see in Costa Rica. These two are undoubtedly great cultural ambassadors for Costa Rica and wonderful assets for Marriott/Sheraton. Hope they are appropriately recognized.

Fantastic. Great food, good service, huge rooms with everything you need in them. And did I mention the view? Spectacular!!

Amazing experience staying here. The room is big, clean and modern. But to be honest, the best is the super friendly staff that makes you feel welcomed all the time, they are always trying to help and give you the best experience. Thank you Alexandre.

The rooms were very clean. They were willing to clean our room as much as we needed it. I appreciate that since I have severe asthma. The Bonvoy lounge was wonderful. Food great service great. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

We stayed at Sheraton during our last night in Costa Rica and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to rest before the long trip back home!
The hotel has everything you need to make you feel at home. The room was big and comfortable, nice shower with amazing water pressure, free coffee and water, free access to the pool, gym and steam bath on the upper floor.
Buffet breakfast was also really good with wide range of options and great quality!
They also offer free parking which was a huge plus for us.
We will definitely return once we visit San José again.

We picked this hotel for a one night stay to have us close to the airport for our departure the following day. GPS said is was 20 minutes away but with traffic in the morning it was 40 minutes. Overall we enjoyed it here. Room service was quick and the food was good. We visited the restaurant downstairs too. The food was ok as was the cocktail selection but not overly impressed overall.

This is our go-to hotel in San Jose. It’s super nice, modern, clean, and the staff is very accommodating. The beds are really comfortable, the air conditioning works great, it’s a quiet hotel (surprisingly, you never hear a peep from the adjoining casino), and the complimentary breakfast buffet is very good. We sleep great here!

The Sheraton Costa Rica hotel is a hotel, more than anything, for executives and tourists passing through, with a good location near the airport and with many amenities. If you stay in the executive rooms you have access to a vup where you can drink good wines and eat from a buffet with good products, the service is very good, it has different access for the disabled, it has parking, and it's safe, they allow dogs, it has a casino, and the gallo pinto for breakfast is one of the richest I've ever tried

Great hotel. Rooms are updated and modern. Breakfast is dynamite! Everything you could want and more. Employees are top notch, and hospitable. Absolutely no complaints. Loved it so much that I stayed at this hotel about 13 nights during my 21 day trip in Costa Rica Eben though I could have stayed with relatives. Felt safe, and comfortable. I can't praise this hotel enough.

I am basing this review on their buffet which is always 5 stars. Today was BBQ day so the rib eye and chicken cutlets were excellent. The quesadilla was good and the spegetti chicken Alfredo

Worthy of 5 stars instead of 4 because they are solar powered! We enjoyed room 438, it had a balcony. Sad we did not get a chance to try the casino or the rooftop restaurant. The gym is big and they have a steam room. Service staff is attentive.

Great place to stay after getting married

I really enjoyed my stay here. Everyone was so welcoming, from the minute you arrived. The doorman to front desk to the maid service, every person there greeted you and assisted in anyway. The buffet breakfast was awesome. The coffee, ahh so good. I would higher recommend this Sheraton to anyone.

This is a great hotel and very clean

Really nice hotel. You can exchange money at a good rate in the casino. Breakfast is great, also the restaurant food is really good. We ordered our food at the Sushi bar to be delivered to our room while enjoying a drink before heading up. Just great.
