Jazz Café

Cool gigs happening there always. Good view of the stage almost in every table of the place, but poor ventilation system.. it gets way too hot inside and there are just a couple of -insufficient- fans in the roof.

Superb Place...Good Service and High Class Live Music...Bands from all over the world are playing here! Apart from that acoustic in the hall is excellent...and this so called Café is a concert hall which is decorated and built in very special way!

THE Venue for Live Music in a concert, LISTENING atmosphere. Nice ambiance, large space. Good sightlines, excellent sound and lighting. Excellent booking of all types of music, most every nite., and special musical events

House Band Tortugas hits the classic rock n roll spot, w good well rendered covers and some original music. Axe player has the chops. The Floyd Cover Band is a must see if you need a fix!.

Always kindly treated. Bartenders know their stuff. Reception always polite and helpfull to me. Cant speak to the food, looks good, big portions, but i eat beforehand. Club food, by necessity, never inexpensive, but, where is? EASY to get to from east or west, just off Rt27. Limited parking, w attentive minders, pay lot down the street when full. Safe location, secure parking. Choice of nearby restaurants for quiet dinner !

Excellent show, good place, great place to enjoy...

Overall great atmosphere. Sound quality was top notch and the band they had performing kept the crowd entertained with great worship music.The lighting was dark but very aesthetic. I had the mozzarella sticks and they were decent.

Great ambiance, food is good. The live show depends a lot on who is playing.

Went to see some live music and it is an amazing venue. You are really close to the stage no matter where you are and it makes for a great show. There is a cover to get in and the drinks are not cheap but overall it is an intimate place to see a show.

One of my favorites places to listen live music and eat! The Sangria is amazing, they also make a really good White Russian. My favorite band PlanchaLive is always playing their best events there. If you wanna visit somewhere classy and have a really fun and loud night. This is where you wanna go. Buy tickets for the next concert I highly recommend it.

My 1st time back to the Jazz Café, Escazu, in over a year and it was great. We saw a Pink Floyd tribute band, they were awesome. A few of us had the chicken wings, they were overcooked but okay.

Great food..great sound. Service is ok. Reasonable prices. Come early if you want a parking spot. Be prepared to pay $12 to get in the door.

Awesome performances, awesome atmosphere, awesome beers and awesome food, just get a seat away from the speakers if you dont like loud noises, it gets loud, awesome place .

The place is big and the sound amazing. Get there early or you will miss the band. The staff is very helpful and the drinks very good.

One of the greatest places to hear live music in all of Costa Rica, at extremely low prices (normally $7-$10 entrance fee) and their drink and food prices are also very very reasonable. I have been living here for over 25 years, and the Jazz Cafe is one of the reasons why i love Costa Rica. From jazz trios to salsa big bands to reggae to blues to latin rock; and to good ole rockn'roll to oldies, the two Jazz Cafes are some of the greatest places in Costa Rica...... Check out the Beatles' Tributes and Las Tortugas!
