Hotel Isla Lizamar

This place is raw. Don’t expect luxury. Don’t expect anything fancy. Instead you are there to enjoy the islands in a semi-private place far from the street vendors and the excessive amount of people in Baru. The food was great. Local style food (whole fried fish, coconut rice, plantain, etc).. the people at the place were super nice and cared about us.

The food here is some of the best I've had in Colombia!
You are able to do a day trip here and enjoy the beach, pools and a buffet lunch.
But I can recommend staying here, once the day trippers leave you have the place to yourself! And it's just magic!

I went to that place with my girlfriend, it is amazing experience cause you can go to acuarium and practice snorkel. My advice is please stay one more night at the beach in order to enjoy the beautiful sunset

Everybody was humble and attentive. Not pressuring you to buy their stuff. Had an amazing time there and people were very happy. The food was great my favorite part the fish and shellfish was wild caught there and served straight to table how food is supposed to be. Even the snorkeling was great fish EVERYWHERE. Another place I will visit everytime I come to Cartagena.

This is an amazing place and well worth the visit however the boat ride back had a complete and utter Maniac boat driver. If you go on this voyage definitely check out the boat for its maintenance and sit in the back of the boat. My life was in jeopardy and he would not slow down and I would have knocked him out if it were not for my friends with me convincing me to not start a fight with the locals. If you want I can post pictures of the maniac and his boat. The Colombian government should definitely seize his boat for lack of safety and maintenance, and if he has a license and should be revoked and he should be imprisoned.

The place was clean, the pool and bathroom areas were very clean, the food was much better than the day before on the other island, the amenities were interesting and entertaining

Nice place , the lunch was great , and the staff very friendly, ...please fix the broken umbrellas and swings.

Great stop for drinks and slide on into the ocean.
