America Latina Grocery and Eatery

One of my favourite places to eat breakfast/lunch with my partner! The Pupusas are a great price and so delicious. All of the staff are lovely and make the visit even better! We love bringing our friends here and I would happily recommend this to anybody looking for a yummy and fair priced eat!

Wonderful grocery store and restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious and clearly made fresh. The grocery store is super unique and offers many authentic Mexican products. The chorizo and oaxaca cheese in the frdges are very very delicious.

Service was so kind and sweet. Eating area was bright and clean. Worth a visit even just to look atound and try something new.

I love this place, the food is always amazing and the staff is super friendly. Their tacos are delicious! 🤤 and just writing this review is making me want to go and grab more. Highly recommended.

Best birria tacos in K/W?

I stop by here when I'm in the neighborhood (which is sadly not often) and always come for the tacos. By far the best I have tasted in town.

I also get some of their grocery items when I'm there. They have a nice selection of Latin food items. I love their selection of sauces, salsas and other condiments.

Keep up the great job, and I will be back next time I'm in area.

A little unassuming Latin American grocery store with delicious fresh options to order. We enjoyed some pupusas, birra tacos and empanadas with some coconut water. The food was absolutely delicious and the staff were very friendly. They deserve a little patio like their neighbours at The Whale and Ale! I highly recommend this place and can't believe we haven't visited sooner.

Food is delicious and made in house. The pupusas are freaking awesome especially with an imported glass bottle coke to go with it! The staff are friendly and helpful if you have any questions about anything. You can eat in at little bistro table or order to go. There’s also a small grocery store inside with unique Latin foods.

I was stopped at the traffic light and just happened to look over and saw their sign. I decided to pop in and see what it was all about.

The place was packed with lots of people sitting down and enjoying their food. It smelled amazing in there. Don’t shop here if you’re hungry or you’ll spend more than you planned!

They had a solid selection of interesting groceries that I’d never seen before in my normal grocery store. I was happy to see Inca Cola as I’ve seen people trying it online and I’ve never seen it available locally before. I picked those up, some Mexican Coke, a bunch of Colombian snacks, and other Central American goodies.

Prices were fair for a local store and are cheaper than online if you factor in shipping costs. I’d love to try the papusas but they were about a 10 minute wait to make more and I had to head out.

The cashier was super friendly and nice and greeted me with a happy smile and bagged up all the items I picked up.

I will definitely be popping back to grab some more stuff and hopefully try the hot food they have to offer.

I heard about this place numerous times on local Facebook groups and decided to try it out when I was in the area.

Their birria tacos were fantastic and just like the ones I had in Mexico - full of flavour and just the right amount of heat. The empanadas were great too - crispy on the outside and soft on the inside with delicious and ample filling.

I was also happy to find guascas in their grocery section as it's not easy so to find.

Looking forward to trying their tacos al pastor next time!

We stopped in after a work lunch for churros, and they were to die for! I have never been more satisfied with a churro in my life. Get the Dulce de Leche on the side, it’s a highly recommend.
There were some folks eating tacos which also looked amazing. This is also a great grocery store for all your Latina grocery needs including tortillas, sauces and spices. I’ve had the pupusas on a past visit and would highly recommend, but don’t leave without a churro! 10/10.

A great Latin grocery store with a surprise in the back - the food is amazing!!! Pupusas, tamales, empanadas, and tacos. If you're thereon a weekend, make sure to get the all day breakfast. And order the plantains, trust me! So delicious!

Stumbled on this delightful spot with very tasty pupusas, churros, and several other Latin American delicacies. Combining a mom&pop convenience store feel with a community cafe, this was a great and affordable place to grab a bite. Highly recommended.

The best Birria Tacos I’ve ever had ! I can’t eat them anywhere else now and everyone I bring here says the same thing . Great services too.

Excellent latin american grocery with a food counter inside. The empanadas are a little small but the corn pastry is flavourful and at the perfect crispness and full of yummy beef and potatoes. The Guatemalan Tamales were new for me but also delicious. The time waiting for the food wasn't wasted as the store has a great variety of hard to find Mexican food staples such as Oaxan cheese and canned tomatillos and hominy. I will definitely be back.

Authentic tasting Latin American food, with a good variety of things to try. My favourite thing that I tried were the empanadas.

Amazing little kitchen in the back. They serve the best tacos I had in this area. Authentic birria tacos, empanadas and tamales. Hidden gem. They also have a great selection of Latin American groceries.
