This is a pretty good grocery store. I find that more than 3/4 the time the produce is very fresh. It is always well stocked and the prices generally aren't bad. The cashiers are not bad either, I have not had any issues checking out. The store is also generally clean and well kept. It can get busy before holidays and weekends but otherwise a great grocery store.

Best place to get groceries, affordable and lots of offers available. Halal chicken is also available. A lot of options to choose.

First time here and it was a good experience. They have excellent produce and some good prices. Staff were helpful enough. I learned I needed to download the app to get the discounts...not too difficult. Parking was not too bad and the location was easy access. I'll definitely visit again and compare with the other grocery stores like Zehrs and Superstore. From what I've seen today, their prices were mostly quite competitive.

3 months later: I prefer another FB location. This one seems tidy and messy at the same time; just FEELS chaotic; it's just how people here work, I guess. They sometimes do not have sales items in stock so it's not the best place for me to visit. Most staff members here are helpful and friendly so that helps.

Great cashier at till number 6 at 6pm this evening. Manager please note: She was friendly, polite, energetic, efficient, and did a great job keeping the conveyor belt clean between customers without delay - better than any I've seen since covid started. This girl is going places.All the best to you.

Great spot of groceries. Keeps you in budget, while you can still get fresh produce (likely due to the high turn over rate)... and I love the selection of international foods! Some people say its not clean, however I have never witnessed any actual filth. The reality is that it is a budget grocery store, so the displays are simple, and what is not spent on frills allows for cheaper products.

I came to food basics after such a long time, but it just felt homely again... Didn't feel like I hadn't been here.... The selection was great, surprisingly better than other branded store (to which I had stopped by but ended up leaving without getting my shopping completed for food items). I would definitely recommend going there and the staff was super helpful.
