The Bookstore on Perron Street

I went here to find a book I've been trying to find for my son. The lady working there was very helpful and friendly she placed in an order for me as they didn't have it either.

Quaint shop, very friendly staff. One of a kinds in this place. Definitely a place to stop in if you are looking for something CHAPTERS wont have for sure.

Thank you to the bookstore for hosting Sheridan Taylor's book signing. Such a lovely atmosphere and the staff and family were so friendly and welcoming.
It was an emotional afternoon and everyone was very kind and non-judgmental.

I have purchased quite a few books from this store. I like that I can buy at the store or order online for pick up or delivery. Many of the titles I have purchased had to be ordered in. Understandable as the store is relatively small and can't keep a huge inventory. Their online ordering system works great and Angela is wonderful to deal with. She has been knowledgeable about all the titles I have bought or inquired about.

Love the bookstore, for over 30 years every book was purchased from Angela. She accommodated all orders that I email her. I love independent stores all over St. Albert

I had a broken foot and couldn't get down to get a book I had ordered for my wife's 50th birthday. My son said he would get the book but the only one that could take him was his Mom! ( The 50th birthday girl.) So my wife was told to take my son for a pick-up....she couldn't look. But my wife is curious so I knew she would peek. I called The Bookstore and explained my dilemma. They said they would make sure the book was covered by a bag so my wife could not see it. But when my son brought the book home, the fine people at The Bookstore had gone the extra mile and they had wrapped the book in birthday paper. I was taken aback. Thank-you for this extra mile step. I will be back.....and yes, the wrapped book is driving her nuts because she can't peek. Wonderful! And thank- you again.

What a giving organization! We contacted Angela and couldn't be happier with the customer service thatwe received. Not only did she help us pick and package the books we needed for the book drive she suggested books appropriate to the ages of our audience. The customer service was second to none. We always prefer to support local but in this case it was a no-brainer as the bookstore on perron Street was the best. Thank you!

I love this little bookstore tucked away in plain sight. This is the place to go for that something special you are not going to find in any big store.

I'm blown away by the generosity of the staff here. Thank you so much for gifting my Dad a new Bible after he lost everything in the fire at Citadel. You were so thoughtful to include a magnifying tool and a highlighter. God bless you guys!

Was looking for a specific book, and they went above and beyond to help me find find it! Anytime I've ever gone in there they've treated me just like family. Great store.

This bookstore does in fact have books but mostly geared to learning or trades references. I have found they have a pretty good selection and they are more than willing to bring in books you need if they do not have them in stock.

The Bookstore on Perron Streen may have a smaller selection then larger retailers but when I was hunting for a book that I couldn't find anywhere else they were very accommodating in tracking it down for me at a very reasonable price.

A great hidden gem in St. Albert! Tons of books, puzzles, games and unique gift ideas here! I highly recommend stopping in!
