Mission: Fun and Games

Drove 3 hours to visit this Edmonton store for games. Good store with a unique outside castle look. Easy to find with good parking. Staff are friendly and took time to explain some of the games options and differences. Brought a few of our favorite Oink games as well. Pretty good pricing with good selections. Will be back again.

Mission Fun & Games has always had passionate, helpful staff and a great selection of board games. Like Canadian-made Tanuki that I picked up today following a knowledgeable review from the staff.

If you know, you know. This is THE hidden gem of Edmonton, but hopefully not so hidden in the future! They have EVERYTHING a board-gamer, card-gamer or mini-gamer could possibly want, with books, figures, and collectibles that literally cover the entire store. A great place to find anything you want, and the staff will help you along. All of them have been very friendly and if they can't find it in store, they will order it for you, so YOU don't have to pay the shipping! Amazing store, that I will keep coming back to again and again.

Amazing selection of games. Unparalleled knowledge of their product. Passionate people work here, and they will talk your ear off about boardgames if you let them. How many late nights of laughter are a direct result of a visit to Mission Fun and Games? Too many to recall. Thanks so much!

I have been coming here with my daughter for years and we love coming here for a few key reasons. One is that you can take games off the shelf and look at the artwork and read about it. Another reason is the incredibly wide variety of games and puzzles in stock, probably more than 1000+ titles to look at. Pricing is reasonable and comparable with online stores. In short, if you need a game come here, or ask them to order it. Very friendly helpful staff too.

Have had nothing but great experiences with the store. The only problem I have going there is the amount of time I spend in the store browsing there huge selection 😂. Super friendly staff and lately I order online for pickup so I'm in and out after I get my confirmation email . Thanks guys always worth the drive from Bon Accord

This is the best game store in the Edmonton area, hands down. Prices are always competitive, and they have such a wide array of games in stock. The staff are beyond knowledgeable. If you have an idea of the kind of game you're looking for, they can always match you up with a good fit. Their online store is also easy to navigate.

We were having a birthday party down the street from the store, and one of the presents my partner received was a Catan game.
The problem: Six people are coming over to play Catan, a four-player game.
The Solution: An expansion pack that allows for six players. But where?
I walked into Mission Fun and Games, and two staff members peeked out from behind their cash registers to offer assistance before the front door had even closed.
We had a great time playing Catan, and everyone wanted to do it again.

We went there to finally get a game we had been searching for, for years, Robin and Jon.B, were Barry helpful and friendly, both in helping us to select new games, as well as suggestions for our miniatures. Will definitely come again.

Oh wow, this place was a dream come true 😍🤯 If you play tabletop games of ANY sort or enjoy board/card games, then I honestly can't think of a better place to go. I have a good friend who constantly recommended this place, but its a 25 minute drive for me as compared to other shops that are 10 minutess or less. After visiting this shop, I can confidently say that I will happily make the 25 min drive to come here in the future. The selection alone was mind-blowing, not to mention the place is impeccably organized and feels pretty opened up despite the mass amount of content they have to offer. Their miniatures sections are organized so well and are HUGE, as well as their dice displays (MASSIVE). They have tons of options for paints, books, mats, dungeon builders...you name it. Long story short, this place is a dream come true and if you haven't been, don't be like me and wait, cuz you're missing out, trust me 👇🏻

Edit - Several trips later to this store and it still clearly is one of the greatest stores for all your tabletop needs in all of Alberta, hands down 10/10 🤩

It was my first ever visit to the store on a boxing day as they only did in-store pick-up sales. Staff were great and nice. I was asked multiple times that if I'm finding everything that I am looking for when the store was packed with people. I picked up some great games with awesome boxing day discounts.

I was looking for five board game titles that were sold out and hard to find in my area. I came across Mission online and was able to order all of the titles which I was looking for. I was able to offset the cost of shipping by getting a great sale price on Anno 1800, which made the total price only $25 more than if I had bought all of the titles where I live (Toronto). What really impressed me, and earned my future support, is the incredibly professional packing of the games for transport. I am extremely satisfied and highly recommend Mission for your online board game orders. Thank you very much for your outstanding customer service.

Staff is friendly, knowledgeable and fantastic. We always find something special here and have hours of family fun as a result. Definitely come check out the games on demo and chat!

This place is so unique inside out. There are very rare games and things and I love the building. The staff are super nice

This is a great place to find any board,card, or strategy game(and a lot of other types I'm sure). The staff is always very friendly and knowledgeable. They play a lot of the games they sell, and you can tell.

The staff here are always willing to help you find what you need. Probably the best selection of board games and puzzles around. Very cool parking signs outside. They also carry D & D , GW and many stuffies. I have never had a bad experience here.

Mission always has a great selection and phenomenal staff! It's always a great time 😊 although make sure you're coming here ready to spend your money and then budget for a little extra 😅 you'll always come out spending a little more than you intended 😜

Lots of jigsaw puzzles, board games and everything you need for tabletop role-playing games. The staff is knowledgeable, super helpful and friendly. I highly recommend this store!
