This was the first time that I've shopped at this Food Basics. I've shopped at many different locations and I have to say...this is my favorite. From the minute I stepped through the door it was inviting. Great selection of most everything...the produce looks great...the store is clean. The cashier that rang me through was friendly and smiling despite the fact I had a buggy full to the brim. She even asked me for some of my bags and helped me bag my groceries...I was amazed and thankful. Their customer service is top notch and I will definitely be shopping there again.

Small location but decently stocked. Would prefer more international food selections similar to the South end location (Clair Rd), but arguably space is limited. Good produce. Very polite staff. Gets packed quickly and with covid, shoppers are not conscious of others' space and keeping distance/following arrows or people flow. Essentially, leave time for yourself as you'll be waiting for people to stop blocking the aisles and giving you space to get through safely. This is incredibly frustrating but not a fault of the store. May consider a lower customer capacity for the size, however.

My local grocery store and I LOVE it. Tje staff are amazing, you can tell they enjoy their jobs and enjoy coming to work. The staff are helpful and have stayed very positive during very stressful times. The vegetables and produce are good and store is well organized.

Usual Saturday picked over, but clean, 2cashiers and 8 self serve. Cost saving (greed) is a beautiful thing. Maybe Tesla can get the carts to come home on their own.

Witnessed amazing act of kindness from Emily a teller towards an elderly woman struggling with debit machine. We will all be elderly one day and things may not be clear. This young teller brought tears to my eyes with her patience and kindness. Outstanding ❤

This location has gone through a makeover!! It's a clean, well-organized and well-stocked store and the staff are friendly. My previous review of this place was low because it was a bit depressing in there but it's changed!! It's much better now and I enjoy shopping here. A lot of young cashiers, giving youth a chance to get started in the working world :)

The store is well kept and stocked, the manager's Randy and Mac are great people and a pleasure to deal with it you have any questions! We would recommend to anyone to shop here! All the staff are great as well!

Great prices, of course. I've been generally impressed with the selection, and Zehrs is across the road if you need something fancy. Produce is streets ahead of FreshCo, but I've been cautioned to avoid the meat.

Excellent staff always a great store to shop and save!

5 stars for the Motown soundtrack. They've been playing Band of Gold by Freda Payne each time I've been in lately and it's been stuck in my head.

This isn't my usual location to shop but this Food Basics had a much better selection then the one on Eramosa. Rd. It just feels brighter and more modern. I'd definitely go back.

Great place to shop for great prices. It was hectic though cuz cops and fire trucks were everywhere outside.

It's a very friendly place with very outstanding and helpful employees...very quick which made my experience quite pleasant. I definitely would suggest this store to anyone who has not been there before.

Many varieties and very good prices , lots of offer to. I recommend downloading the app to keep up with the latest they have to offer. The cashiers are nice and helpful. Its truly one of my favourite spots.
