The Deck Box

I’ve heard great things about this store and when I finally got to go it was all worth it. I’ve bought a Game boy advance SP and a PSP here, and the staff was really friendly and had good support and was ready to talk about any game at a moment’s notice. They have everything from NES to the Switch and games and accessories for each of them! All reasonably priced and in good condition too. They also have trading card games here too, so I’ll definitely come back here for that sometime. Overall, one of the best places in Atlantic Canada for Card games and Video games galore!!

Super friendly staff!! Very welcoming environment. Went in for the first time to purchase my first ever set of D&D dice(which are beautiful by the way), and the two people at the counter were so nice to talk to about it while I was checking out! Will definitely be returning for future D&D needs :)

As someone who knows nothing about cards, I was pleasantly surprised to take my son here for some Pokemon cards. The staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable and he was delighted to even get some freebies! The inside was clear, organized, and very spacious.

I go in occasionally to feed my crippling cardstock addiction.

I took my 11 year old son to casual commander night and we both had an amazing time and will definitely be returning for more gameplay.

Amazing place to play MTG during events or with buds. Plus they often have a lot of really cool cards for less than you would expect.

Very friendly staff, lots of stock, wonderful events. If you are looking for card singles, this is one of the only places I've seen that will search the card binders for you. There are lots of magic foils in stock as well as busy pokemon events. This is my main location for miniature paints due to location and stock. If you are new to miniature painting or want to bring a friend, you can bring your minis on Tuesday evenings for the painting night. There are plenty of retro games and consoles in stock. This location is ever expanding what it's known for and can do and can adapt to its environment. I can't forget the beautifully painted murals on the front and inside. Sodas are sometimes sold within.

I've been to card stores across the country and this is easily the most organized and easy-to-use one I've ever seen. I can only speak for pokemon cards but they have extremely organized binders of singles, with each card individually priced and LABELLED. Their system is better than most places, too. You're provided a sheet and pen so you can make a list of what you want. They will then find the cards you're looking from their drawers and pull everything you listed. It really saves the hassle of pulling out everything bit by bit and having to grab their attention over and over. It's a great system and I loved it.

They also have a ton of stock of old cards from Gen 5 up to the current set, with a lot of options.

The store also has a ton of model stuff, old games, and more, all of it very organized with clear obvious price tags and labels. I highly recommend this place to any collector

The place to go in Atlantic canada for Magic, Pokemon, YuGiOh and other games! The owner is very knowledgable and helpful. Their prices are very competitive. There standard cap price system is very helpful for keeping standard costs down. In most cases they will have the cards you need....if they dont they will try and find them. The store itself is decorated perfectly. A+ will go again for sure!

The deck box is fantastic! My personal favorite LGS in HRM. The store is large, bright and clean. The selection of product, and singles are vast and well displayed. The staff members are always friendly, inclusive and inviting. I cannot say enough good things about The Deck Box!

Josh and staff are always friendly, chatty and very knowledgeable with Ttrpgs ,TCG’s and Video games and are my go to spot for either picking up new/newer games and old titles as well.

I popped into the shop the weekend and dropped off some cards that had built up over the years. The team at Deck Box we're very friendly and offered reasonable prices in cash and even better deals for trade in credit! The shop also has a lot of really unique MTG and collectable items! Would 100% recommend checking this place!

Awesome place to play magic and other games. Josh (owner) is definitely "for the players" will go above and beyond to make sure to have what you need from very old to new sets. Not just a retailer, the staff know the games they sell inside and out. Great to chat or to help with questions and suggestions!

Great selection of sealed TCG, singles, games, accessories, well organized, and extremely helpful. They really care about helping you out and getting you what you want if they somehow don't have what you're looking for!

Selling our old video game system and games for store credit was an easy and great experience. The staff here are super friendly, helpful and passionate about helping with any video game questions you might have. Even if you're not there to buy anything, it's fun to see all of the older games and consoles they have for sale.

Very nice Cards & RPG store. They have free tables for gamers and even events on events! Worth to check out and I completed my D&D Dark Sun 4th Collection! You can't go wrong going to this store.

I had been looking all over for an original wii with the original super Mario brothers game and I just couldn't find it tested and/or at a decent price. Then on vacation in Halifax I heard about the deck box. I went there they had the game the console extra remotes, everything! They even set it up to show all in working order. Thanks Deck Box! My 7 yr old great nephew will be thrilled!

Beautiful open space, unlike many game stores which feel dark and closed in in a tiny tiny room. Josh, the owner, is extremely kind and creates an inclusive environment so that people who may be new to a game feel comfortable and welcome. Also, he has just about every card you could ask for--its a lot of cards. All the staff are funny and cool to talk to as well. Also, Josh let us get married there ❤
