Great spot for all your natural health care needs. My products are on price point with elsewhere. Some times not. Very kind and supportive staff. Easy to get to with parking. Good selection. I recommend calling or checking it out. On line or I'm person. Delivery online is way too expensive for local delivery. Nice atmosphere. I enjoy looking around and seeing what's new. I always price compare unless I cannot find it anywhere else. Locally made products too. Highly recommend.

I’ve been a customer of The Healthy Bug since they were at their old location on Joseph Howe Drive. Lou, the owner, has always been so kind and helpful for me and my family. He always goes the “extra mile” to help us out. He seems to be very knowledgeable and told me that he was in the industry for 28 years. You can tell that he has a strong passion for this industry.
He has given us free products when we couldn’t afford it and has even delivered products to our home.
Lou has also on several occasions given us advice and information on products. He has suggested remedies when my kids were sick. He takes time to listen to you when you’re struggling with life and its challenges.
All of the staff at The Healthy Bug seem to really care about their customers. I’ve never been a store that takes the time to know their customers and their needs.
We now live outside of the city, but still come to The Healthy Bug for advice and products. I also like the fact that The Healthy Bug offers an excellent return policy of 90 days. They told me that if I buy something that I don’t like or if it doesn’t work for me, that I can return it within 90 days for a full refund. It applies for everything in the store, even a bag of potato chips! I don’t think any other health food store in the area does this. I was really impressed by their return policy. They also told me that they price match any of the stores in the local area.
We highly recommend this store for your health food needs.

I’ve been a customer of The Healthy Bug for a few years and called them looking for a multivitamin I wanted. They did not carry the product I was looking for but the owner Lou went out of his way to call multiple stores to source out and locate the product I needed and also offered to pick it up with no benefit to himself. Excellent customer service!!

Amazing place, the manager and store owner are great people. They helped us find everything we needed and are very knowledgeable on most if not all the products they sell here.

I went to this store to exchange a product and found all the staff to be very kind and sympathetic to my concerns. They referred me to Lou the owner who promptly processed my request. They even offered to order in the specific product I was inquiring about. I left the store feeling that I had received amazing service and the staff here brightened my day. The Healthy Bug has a wide selection of anything health related you could possibly hope for and are more then willing to help you track it down if they do not. This is a great health store with great service and I will be going back again.

I went into the Healthy Bug to purchase Hemp oil and staff was so very helpful and extremely knowledgeable. The owner was enthusiastic and had all the time and patience in the world to answer our 100+ questions.

I went to The Healthy Bug store because I was sick with yet another cold and I wanted different advice and products from all the other stores that sell vitamins in the city because their advice wasn't working. The owner Lou and his assistant spent time finding out what I wanted and made some recommendations. The prices are good for their products and they carry different brands from other stores. I will make them my #1 stop from now on. They are so much better than Organic Earth Market

The staff are friendly, super knowledgeable and supportive. The prices are great when compared to other health product businesses, and there is a wide variety of products to choose from. I highly recommend.

Great service. as soon as I entered the store with my son I was welcome by the sales/customer service young lady who immediately asked me how she can help..
I I went to look for Lucuma Powder ..and I am glad I found it ! but at the same time with her offering help ..I took the opportunity to asked some questions about any product that can help to stop loosing my hair ..she took the time to give me some information and introduced me to a couple of products explaining their benefits..

Anyway back to my Lucuma Powder ..great product very happy with my purchased .. I just made a delicious smoothie with it ..Amazing!!

Went here for the first time a few weeks ago. After being spoiled with best store in Victoria, the Healthy Bug will be my 2nd best + favourite store on the East coast. Owner, Lou, is divine + incredibly helpful! Can't wait to return.

Amazing service! I mistakenly thought I'd been mislead about a product's availability and Annette made extra care to check on the holds for me and found it there. ^_^ What a wonderful store! Impressive selection of organic food as well considering it's a supplement store. Look here first!

Amazing, friendly, knowledgeable staff. I have been going there off and on for years and find the high quality products at a reasonable price refreshing here in Halifax. I like that there is an abundance of Canadian products and the energy is as warm as their hearts.

Selection is great. Staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Service is awesome. Not only do they know about the products but they did not push certain brands at me and they referred alternative methods and remedies for me to consider and research.

Best customer service you will find! Super knowledgeable and they take time to help you find the best product to fit your needs. Also, they have a fantastic return policy.
