I like this store. Selection of products for us vegetarians is very good. Especially the no fish tuna. Wow! Clean and efficiently run departments.
Best before dates on groceries are satisfactory. Cashiers are nice. Thank you everyone for making my shopping event pleasant.

Very clean and orderly store. With very easy access and enough parking. It usually has good discounts. Especially there are many varieties bread.

They have a cool garlic spread that you can make your own garlic bread at home that I like

My major neighbourhood grocery store. The staff here are friendly and helpful. I moved into this area 9 years ago and have been shopping here since. I also use their pharmacy for all my prescriptions. The staff there are great. Bakery and produce departments are excellent.

we went there for supper we had excellent service and everyone was very friendly...and if you love Ukrainian food, this is the dish to have. I had eaten some of the salad before I took a picture

Their services are very okay, though they need to improve in their security services, because some aboriginal people and some sycophants always comes to do shoplifting there periodically. Which is a high risk to an ordinary customer.

Clean and well stocked chain store, nevertheless, sometimes their prices fir goods are higher than other stores, such as prices of yoghourts, soft drinks etc.

this store branch deserves to received a 5 start for the quality of sandwich they sell. never fails to make me happy when i buy from them.

Great staff - always asking if they can help you - that is appreciated when so many places have no staff, roomy aisles, well stocked shelves, fruit and veggies are fresh.

Probably one of my favorite grocery stores in the city. The store had an incredible range of grocery items. Last week, I only came for grapes but went home with a bunch of stuff I saw that would suite dinner. I also find that the produce has great quality. When it comes to paying, the self-checkout experience was an absolute breeze! Quick and hassle-free, allowing me to complete my purchase smoothly. If you're on the lookout for a grocery store that delivers on variety, good produce, and a delightful shopping experience, I recommend Safeway.

Fairly well stocked. Nice staff. They have natural cosmetics department which doesn’t seem like every Safeway has. Busy location tho, not the one I typically go to. Line ups were big.

Everything is laid out and easy to find! Prices are a little high, even for certain sale items. I really enjoy the staff! There is a clerk there by the name of Gabe j believe, and he is absolutely hilarious and provides exceptional customer service! I usually look for him in the checkout aisle! I'm so glad Self Checkout hasn't completely take over! Thanks Gabe!

Safeway on River is a great place to get your grocery needs. They have a pharmacy and all the essentials you need at a great price. This location has excellent staff and a very clean store. It is located on a major bus stop and is accessible to the handicap.

Best grocery store in the neighborhood! Has everything I need

A special to Sydney a wonderful grocery clerk who goes the extra mile. Last week there was no water on the shelves at dinner rush hour. Sydney gladly went to the back and came out with a trolly of 12, 24 and 48 packs that weighed a ton. All this so we could have water for the night! She has amazing customer dedication!!! And so friendly and professional.

Give this awesome lady a BIG PAY RAISE!

this is a liminal space. i have been here countless times and never once interacted with one person. they always have what i need, but i’m suspicious that they exist at all. five stars.
