Beautiful suite on the 4th floor with separate living and dining room. Gorgeous decor. Bed was too soft for our liking and room was very warm overnight, but everything else was top notch. Service was excellent. Breakfast in the Oval room was delicious.

Friendly staff. Nice room, comfortable beds, free coffee and tea in the lobby in the morning. There are coffees in the room but no tea. Besides that the bathroom is a little outdated, but the faucet is new, it does the job. Overall great and would definitely come back and recommend

Very Vintage with character! Food is really to die for, amazing. Words can not explain all the exquisite flavors that each can be an jolt to your taste buds and body. Wow! The Jazz Festival at the Fort Garry was the 'cherry on the top' cliche that can not explain in being there experience. Just Wow where the music took you to place unknown within amazing talented musicians! For example cosmic and earthly resonances.

Had my wedding on Friday and it was spectacular. Abbie Z was incredible to work with and answered my hundreds of questions over the last year of planning with patience, tactfulness, and attention to detail. I cannot thank her enough!! The banquet managers and supervisors checked in with us periodically throughout meals and with our planner as well to ensure everything was going according to plan. Everything was executed so well and meals were great. Our room at the end of the night was lovely and included sparkling wine and chocolate covered strawberries that were much appreciated.

Absolutely beautiful music in a beautiful venue. This was my first time attending, it definitely won’t be my last! I was literally moved to tears! The candlelight gives such a peaceful ambiance to the whole experience. Staff were amazing. The only critique would be the picture that is offered, maybe I missed it but I didn’t see where we were able to pay for that and get one, but that’s such a minor detail.

I had such a wonderful stay at The Fort Garry Hotel. It was incredibly reasonably priced for how nice it is. I felt like a princess in my canopy bed. The Oval Room Brasserie was delicious. The staff managed to be super attentive despite being busy. The included comedy show was a blast. The food and amenities for the conference were excellent. The only downside was I was disappointed to find out the pool is separate and use comes with an additional fee. The location is great and there’s so much to check out a short walk away.

I highly recommand the hotel which was clean magical testimony of the past with a modern twist. I was most impressed with their customer service. They were understanding of my specific situation and responded generously and right away.

Quite simply one of the best hotels I have stayed in. Has a very European feel to it. The staff is extremely attentive. The rooms are very clean and well decorated.
I recommend going to the round room bar on the first floor as the vibe is very art-deco as it was recently restored to its original 1930's decor. There is also a comedy club in the basement and the show we attended was awesome.
The location is perfect for taking in everything Winnipeg as it is walking distance to the Forks and the Osborne district and downtown. Great for taking in a Jets game or just going to the river to hang out.
The spa on Ten (the tenth floor) is top notch and is one of the finest spa experiences with authentic Turkish baths, massages and more. Very much worth spending time there.
The new Italian Restaurant, Vida is an amazing fine dining experience. The food and wine are some of the finest you will fine. I would put it up against any other establishment in any other major city in Canada.
Finally, the staff was extremely helpful with navigating my wife and I towards excellent dining and entertainment options. I have stayed at this hotel twice and it is the only hotel I would ever stay at in Winnipeg. It is a special place for my wife and I.

I stayed here in September as I had my wedding in the hotel! It is an absolutely beautiful location, and the venue for a wedding is top notch.
The Oval Room is absolutely beautiful as well and the staff are all so friendly and professional. The food is also delicious.

Went with my friends to the hotel for the Candlelight Holiday Concert held at their convention hall. Beautiful hotel, spacious and mesmerizing convention area with gorgeous candelabras. Lots of hotel attendants. Perfect location.

Stayed here for a wedding. Excellent, attentive staff. Comfortable, clean, well-furnished rooms. Walking distance to lots of attractions and restaurants. My son's only complaint: no pool.

This was a superb experience from the ambience, the excellent service and the wonderful food. The wedding dinner was excellent and accommodated all appetites. The bed was extremely comfortable and the shower was excellent. Both made you want to stay in them forever! Staff were always helpful and friendly. Our room was quiet and very comfortable.

Wow.. Lived in Winnipeg for years but never stayed there. Had to move out of town and decide to visit home before staying there! Beautiful building with tons of history. If you are wanting a fancy tub and a fridge that speaks to you this is not the place. If you want to feel the lives of people in the 20s and beyond this place is right! Nice gym, beautiful banquet rooms! I was there for days before I went to the 7th floor... And felt the ghosts and voices! Wow! Yesteryear! Good on you guys to keep this place primo! I will love to do it again! Four and a half outta 5 for location as construction is nuts and my arrival at night was a poor decision as lots are full and its not clear what to do when you arrive. Having said that, it's just me.

We stayed for 3 nights in mid-August while traveling in Canada. The location is great for getting around downtown Winnipeg. The hotel is very beautiful and the rooms are large and comfortable.
I have to say that there were at least 4 weddings in the 3 nights that were there, so very popular.
I would point out that teh Concierge was AWESOME. Jeannie Cole was on point and very helpful numerous times during our stay. Kudos to her.

I am more than pleased to say we had an amazing experience staying at this historic hotel. The commom areas reminded of the bridgerton era 😍 with all the red carpets and gold platings. The front staff was very freindly and warm. The staff took care of the itty bitties whether that be their amzing service, food, security as well as the ambience. Not to mention one of their housekeeper Harjot, omg she deserves a raise. We saw her most of the time of our stay in the hallways being very helpful to us aa well as others. She seemed to be very hardworking and carried the most amzing smile all the time through our encounter. I was there for a business trip and stayed there for four nights. I would 100% recommend this hotel as I am sure to book it for the rest of my upcoming trips to Winnipeg. Amazing work guys, Kudos to you all.
Just as a side note, if the window could open it would be really nice as they were shut permanently.

Lovely well maintained older hotel of a past era. Spacious entry, check and dining area. It was just pleasant to stay in such a beautiful place. The location is good for the train and other activities. The staff were helpful and friendly.

This was a very well put together comedy club! I honestly think it's 1000x better than rumors and their food and drinks are top quality, a monstrous difference in service and the environment. I felt very welcomed here instead of feeling rushed and herded like cattle in the other "popular" establishment. Thank you for the most enjoyable evening Yuk Yuks.
