Shoppers Drug Mart

My partner and I were driving through town during the extreme snow storm a few days ago. We tried to obtain critical medication at another pharmacy in another town but it closed at 6 pm and we arrived at 6:05 pm. We were so glad that this pharmacy closed at 9:00 pm so we could obtain the medication and stay overnight in Canmore safely, rather than continuing to drive down the unsafe and stormy highway. We arrived home safely the next day, avoiding a hospital visit, due to this pharmacy’s services. Thank you for your extended hours and quick assistance.

Needed to rent a wheelchair for a family member and the person who helped at the pharmacy was kind, prompt and overall lovely to work with. Prices are also great: $10/day and no commitment to the number of days needed. Charged when the chair is returned.

This pharmacy is how they all should be ran. Polite, respectful and willing to help by any means necessary, as it should be with peoples health. The past pharmacist Scott was also great, the new pharmacist is just as great. Highly recommended to anyone in town.

I had run out of my puffer and needed a specific one. The 2 people at counter helped me out above and beyond what they needed too do. Wonderful customer service and experience.

We are visiting Canmore for a 9 day trip from the US. I realized my first night here I forgot my blood pressure medication at home. I was so upset, I didn’t know what to do. We looked up pharmacies located by where we are staying and just showed up at Shoppers Drug Mart this morning. The pharmacist was so kind……he was able to give me an “emergency” supply prescription to get me through my trip till I return to the US.
I am just so grateful for his helpfulness and kindness, he saved our trip ❤💕
Also shopped in the store for a bit while there and they really have everything, great store

Pharmacy: We stopped by because we had questions for the pharmacy during our trip. I wish I remember the female pharmacist who helped us the afternoon of 5/12/23 because she deserves recognition for being absolutely wonderful and extremely helpful. She took her time with us and explained what we were looking for and went above and beyond. She was light, professional, and extremely helpful. She was also willing to work with us to get some items that they didn’t have in stock.

Jasmine helped me today with perfumes. She was genuine and spoke to me as if we were friends for years. She taught me what to look for and how to narrow which brands to keep in mind. She's so passionate and it makes me excited to dive into something that is otherwise overwhelming.

Walked in with my boy and a nice lady greeted us with a big smile and welcome as we walked in (20-09-23). Simple gesture but it was appreciated. Found what we needed and left.

Always a great experience here. Have to give a huge shout out to Kristen. My son was less than co operative with his flu shot. Two appointments and several attempts later, she gained his trust. Her patience ,compassion and professionalism, was incredible

Was impressed:) nice big clean store. Short staffed at til but the (assistant?) front store supervisor who was working was still pretty efficient running between self checkout and the til. Pharmacy seemed super busy! Keep up the good work guys! Also cool they have a big selection of those boiron tubes.

Today I had to bring a prescription in. Scott the pharmacist was amazing. Extremely informative. He had a great tip on how to get my one year old to take his medicine and it worked like a charm. The service was absolutely amazing.

Jasmine the beauty manager is exceptional! She helped me a lot and gave me such a good advice for my skin. She takes time for her clients. I will ask for her again next time! Please let her know she is such a good person and really professional!

My fave drugstore in Canmore. Scott, the Pharmacist is just awesome, friendly, very knowledgeable and helpful and very personable and funny. - . along with all the other Pharmacists & sales staff . Plus they have great deals on cosmetics and perfumes, toiletries, eggs and butter. I trust this shop and highly recommend them.- Rose Pedersen

Staff are friendly and polite. I went here to take my son's passport picture and the manager was very patient, nice and friendly while he took my son's pictures. It is always challenging to take photos of a 5 years old because we usually smile when we take a picture, but he may not smile, he needs to stand up straight, and he may not move for a while for a passport photo. Unfortunately, the Passport Program rejected my son's photos because we could see a little bit of his teeth on the photos, so the manager took my son's photos again free of charge. I thought that I had to pay, but I was told free of charge to retake the passport photo. I really appreciate this kind of service!

I’d have to say that the service is nothing short of amazing. Charlie in the Boutique has sort me me out so many times! Her product knowledge and fun friendly service is always looked forward to! Also, Scott in the Pharmacy is just as amazing! I will shop nowhere else for skin products and pharmacy needs. Thank you Shoppers!
