From the front staff to the vets and assistants....all are friendly, definitely animal lovers and genuinely care about your pet! I brought little Lucy in for her first check up and had her spade at Bow River Vet in March of 2020 and kept up her visits all through COVID and will still continue to do so. She is a healthy, happy 5 year old pup thanks to Bow River

Great vet experience, we are from out of the province and needed to bring our puppy in to a vet. They got her in right away and it was great service. Very quick response from the vet and as promised, a follow up call the next day to see how she was doing. Would highly recommend!

We weren’t a client, just passing through when my dog needed to be euthanized. This clinic not only got us in on extremely short notice but one of the staff hung out with our daughter so both myself and my husband could be there with our dog in her final moments. This is without a doubt the most compassionate and caring facility we have ever been to. These people are amazing and truly care about their clients and animals. I cannot thank you enough for your help on one of our worst days. Riot was lucky to have all of you help her cross the rainbow bridge.

I feel very fortunate having such a good vet clinic. The vet's medical knowledge seems excellent, thoughtful, and practical. I feel our dogs are well cared for.

The reception staff and vet technicians are friendly, attentive and conscientious.

The dog groomer is superb; our dogs emerge looking fantastic; the dogs are less impressed primarily as they would happily be hairy and even a little smelly!

We have had the dogs' teeth cleaned here, under anaesthetic, and it went well. It was reassuring to be kept informed of how it went, post-anaesthetic, over the telephone, and I felt confident in the clinic staff's expertise.

I definitely recommend them.

This was my first visit to Bow River Vet since bringing my dogs over from the UK. I was over the moon with the care my dogs received and advice given. Super friendly staff and my dogs loved the treats 😊

I was in Banff for a quick walk with my small yorkshire when he was attacked by 3 very aggressive dogs. Although the dogs were on a leash, they were so strong that the owner fell down and he was dragged while the attack happened. So my visit to the Bow River Veterinary was because of an emergency, but I must say the staff took care of my dog and of myself. I was so scared, crying all the time because my dog had a bite in his neck, but I could not ask for better staff than them. I really appreciate all the care with us, and I would like you guys to know that Shadow is healed and healthy again!

We brought our fur baby as a new patient fir check up appointment and the clinic was very accommodating to our needs. The appointment was able to be scheduled in a reasonable amount of time. The Vet, technicians and reception were all very professional and helpful. Will definitely continue to visit this clinic.

The staff are great. The hours they are open make it easy to make an appointment that works for your schedule. I choose to drive an extra hour from Golden BC because of the awesome service I receive at this Vet!

We have found our groomer, and after trying several places here in Canmore we have found Alex. Our dogs have never looked so good. Thank you Alex!

We brought our pup to Bow River as an emergency as we we visiting from out of town. They immediately fit her in and gave her the best care. Dr. Katya was very thorough and the rest of the staff was wonderful. They sent us home with lots of information and everything we needed to get our pup well again. They also followed up the next day to make sure everything was still on track and sent all the info to our regular vet. I highly recommend Bow River.

Very prompt and excellent service. Quality staff of which it makes it a pleasure to take our 3 year old Australian Labradoodle for any issues or concerns we may have.

This place is full of caring and compassionate individuals, who show off their talents at each visit. They offer a wide selection of food, treats and toys too!

Everyone I’ve encountered has been so helpful and kind. Just got my pup groomed there for the first time and Alex did an amazing job. I feel confident my dog will be well taken care of. I highly recommend bringing your furry friends here.

We have been patients of this vet since moving to Canmore in October and we cannot say enough good things about them! All the staff are amazing with our dog, Olive. She actually enjoys going to the vet!

David(my cat) was born in July 16 of 1997 In Canmore Alberta his home town. He is survived by his dad Steven David passed away peacefully in Canmore at the veterinary clinic on June the 02 , 2018, He was 21 years of age. Thanks to His former family Dr Dave Brace, all the new staff

David was able to continue his life fighting many health battle over the years. Aldo been living in Banff for the last 5 years David has peacefully passed away at the Canmore veterinary clinic under the supervision of Dr Carol Blake and his Daddy at his side till the very end.
