We gave the hotel short notice of our stay and they were extremely accommodating and helpful. The manager Sara was super kind and willing our entire holiday, and made sure to get back to us really fast. A short under-ten minute drive to Canmore Town Centre was also perfect for us to get out of the busy weekend downtown but also felt close to anything we needed. Would 10/10 recommend for families staying in the mountains, as there is tons of space in the suites and kitchenettes. Very clean, very well stocked, lovely place. Hope to be back very soon.

Our stay was excellent. After traveling 28 hours with 5 children we were greeted with a smile and our room was decent. We had a perfect view and the washer and dryer were a pleasant surprise. I cant wait to return !

My husband and I stayed here while on vacation in early September and absolutely loved it. As others have noted, Betty and Albert are lovely people who make the experience. We were incredibly impressed with all of the measures they have taken to make Alma House as safe as possible during COVID times (as a physician, I have very high standards with this and was not disappointed!) while continuing to keep the quality and comfort of the stay very high. Albert's breakfasts are legendary for good reason; each morning we were treated to pastries outside the door (including personalized ones for our puppy!), and the breakfast was delicious and kept us full until well past midday. Rooms were very comfortable, which was important since we spent more time than usual in them, as we chose to eat in given the pandemic. The only recommendation I have would be to have cups/glassware in the room, but Betty was happy to provide these for us upon request. We can't wait to visit again next summer!

I stayed here with two friends to do some snowboarding at Sunshine Village. We kind of went in blind as we booked the room in a hurry as our plans kept changing last minute. What first drew our attention was the price of the room... I believe it was about $180 for a 2-bed room, which was very reasonable compared to other prices we were seeing at the time. We arrived after our first day on the mountain and were blown away. The room was no ordinary hotel room - it was basically a townhouse with 2 separate bedrooms, two bathrooms with showers, a kitchen with stove, fridge, dishwasher, etc... Living room and dining area with gas fireplace. The kitchen also backed onto a little outdoor sitting area with barbecues. The main facility had a gym, pool, and outdoor hot tub. The lady at the desk was also very friendly and helpful. The only issue we had was parking - when we first arrived at about 4:00pm it was fine, but later we went out for dinner and came back at around 7:30pm and we could not find a spot. We noticed that there were no lines painted anywhere so people were just kind of parking however they wanted. If everyone parked in a normal sized stall there probably would've been about 10 extra parking spaces... We ended up having to park up by the road which wasn't so bad as we had already lugged all of our gear in earlier - but it was still kind of annoying. All in all it was a great experience and we would definitely stay here again.

I recently spent a weekend at Inn of the Rockies with my family. We loved the place. The townhouse was plenty big for our family of 4 and allowed us to spread out. The kids really enjoyed the indoor pool and outdoor hot tub while the sunny balcony was the adults favour. There are several BBQ's on site to flip a steak. The townhouse comes with a fully equipped kitchen that has all the basics and more. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Overall a wonderful place that we will certainly go back to.

Inn of the Rockies is a great spot to stay if you're traveling in a group. Very reasonable rates, and the place is spacious. For a group of five, we had 2 bedrooms with large beds, a futon, full kitchen, 1.5 bathrooms. They also have an indoor gym, pool, and outdoor hot tub which is a treat when it's freezing out. The staff was quite friendly especially Jessica at the front desk. Only 8 minutes from Canmore, it is very accessible to several shopping options. The kitchens come with a few necessary items to do your cooking, but make sure you bring oil, salt, sugar, ingredients.

Very nice rooms at reasonable price. Perfect location to stay away from the noise and traffic in Banff yet very close to park entrance.
Yes, the TVs are old. But I don't fly 4000 km to watch HBO.
It would be nicer if there is a small grocery store and/or restaurant within walking distance.

Great place to stay. Our apartment was very spacious and had all amenities needed. There is also a hot tub, pool and gym onsite. Additionally, plenty of boardgames and books are also available at the reception that can be borrowed.

This place is a goldmine for its natural beauty! Situated 17 km down the road from Banff to Calgary it offers one of the best views of the mountains. It's near the road. Bookd a 2 rooms 2 bathrooms 2 stories condo through airbnb and were amazed. Definitely recommend it.

A home from home inn, bright and clean rooms, also 2 toilets is a plus for a family of 4. BBQ outside the house is another bonus for a quick steak meal.
