Chai Shai Cafe

I went with a friend and we got karak chais, a 6” chicken bread, and a coffee walnut cake slice. Everything tasted amazing. Their interior is that of a European cafe but the menu is very similar to any big bakery you might have visited in Pakistan. I found this duality very interesting. Their seating is a bit limited but I think having too much seating would ruin the kind of interior they were aiming for. A great cafe/bakery overall.

Love this little gem!! Had no idea they were here! We had the soup, chicken patties and the chicken bread and everything was amazing!!! Tasted like Pakistani chicken patties!! We left very happy!

Went on a Tuesday night with my bestie to have some chai shai for some batain vaatain and we ordered the foot long chicken bread, hot and sour soup and one elaichi chai!!

It was super fresh and delicious !! Absolutely loved it and will highly recommend it to all my family and friends. I wish they were open till later instead opening super early :)

Made my evening with delicious and fresh Chicken patty and tea. Must try. Also chicken corn soap was yummy too.

For all of our evening hunger pangs, this is an awesome cafe, everything served was made fresh, Masala chai was too good! Made fresh and served. Had been craving the soup but they have discontinued and could not really try that.

This place reminded me of the bakeries and the evening snacks we used to have back home. Very fresh tasting chicken patties, and yummy almond cake just like the ones they have back home… decent elaichi chai..truly enjoyed dining here and will definitely be coming back for more! Can’t wait for them to add more items to the menu it was so good! The owner was also super nice and accommodating!! Love supporting good local eateries like this one.

We just had the chicken ; vegi and Beef patties (Karachi style 😉) and these are the stuff legends are made of. Every savory, crispy and little spicy bite hits all your taste buds like a Plinko token heading towards the jackpot. Tea and coffee cake was fantastic and soup was top notch & you can get a feel of bahadurabad style outing while sitting in your vehicles and enjoying the food, Whenever me & my wife with our kids craving for authentic Pakistani snacks this is the 1st place we go.

Tried masala And Kashmiri chai with cakes and patties. Definitely recommended

Loved the chicken bread and so did my parents. They said it reminded them of the ones they used to love in Pakistan. Other than that the Kashmiri chai was great and there was almost no wait time. Everything is fairly priced and I look forward to trying more of the menu.

Amazing place! I have tried a few of these chai cafes and this one is definitely the best. There chicken bread and beef patties are amazing. Also had the soup an sandwiches which were also amazing! And of course the chai! Also, the decor is really nice 🙂

Amazing little place with exceptional chai.. each flavour is very different. Also the cakes specially the pistachio has a completely different taste.

We came here for the first time and were pleasantly surprised by it. The chicken bread was really really good and so was the karak chai. It’s nice to see places like this open in Calgary.

Delicious food at this cute halal cafe. Super affordable and run by the sweetest people. Their chicken patties are a must try!!!!
