If I could give this place more than five stars for atmosphere I would. I am in love with this space. There is tons of room to sit and work, socialize or have a meeting.

I docked a food star because the avocado toast I ordered was pretty sparse on avocado. For a place this nice it would be wonderful to sink my teeth into hearty avocado toast.

The coffee was great though, and the wooden furniture and restored decor is icing on the cake.

The whole operation is a non profit that helps men get on their feet. It’s a heart warming story that you will love to support.

Cozy coffee shop in uptown. They have a large and beautiful back room with fire place! Lots of seating and outlets for those who want to bring a laptop and do work. There was a large selection of specialty coffees and teas, as well as baked goods and toasts.

Very cool coffee shop in a historic building in the city centre. Beautiful atmosphere to sit and enjoy your coffee. The coffee was good however the one improvement they could make is to introduce a smaller cup for cortados and flat whites as my cup was a bit to big and a bit too milky. Otherwise this place was great?

As a Saint Johner, I can clearly say that this is the best cafe I ever been to, despite being Saturday and one of the chilliest days I have seen, the cafe operators let us in 2 minutes before the opening time. From that moment for me it was like stepping into a wonderland, I immediately browsed the place, saw the all the beautiful mugs hanging around. I ordered a cappuccino, wonderfully served great price, I went to the back and found my couch sanctuary and fire place, Saint John's first original fire place! Loved it, so authentic, I will come back here as soon as I can, I will be having my first date with my girl here in new year ❤...wonderful experience...! Must come and experience!

My favourite place to get a coffee in Saint John. Great location, friendly staff and the drinks and food are always amazing. I tried the mini egg cookie today and it was hands down the best cookie I've ever had from a cafe.

The best coffee shop in Saint John, NB! Such a wonderful vibe, we loved the atmosphere, great design in an old building. Amazing coffee and staff. We also love that they give back to the community ❤ we recommend visiting this place for a coffee, to go wi to a friend or to work, the wifi is good.

This was my first time visiting Catapult and aside from wonderful coffee, it also has an amazing atmosphere. Loved seeing all the crafts and artwork by local artists, and the staff was very friendly.

Always a pleasant experience grabbing coffee here! Plenty of comfortable seating, delicious drinks and a quiet atmosphere.

Unlike other coffee shops uptown, Catapult is always super quiet - great for studying/working. The new addition to the back of the café is amazing. There are a couple of couches and a huge fireplace. You can really appreciate the craftsmanship that went into building this place!

Cappuccino with a pump of caramel was so delicious, even when I told I will take it out (which means I will need to use lid on my coffee cup) they made it look like a piece of art with a beautiful heart pattern to make it a special coffee cup. Love the coffee shop: atmosphere, service and the best in town cappuccino taste!

Spacious and comfortable space, very welcoming. The baked goods were fresh and delicious, made on site from the way they tasted but I didn’t ask. Lovely large latte. Perfect place to meet friends on a cold afternoon.

Catapult serves delicious coffee - I particularly liked my cappuccino. They have a nice sugar and cream station stocked with cinnamon and cocoa that is clean and nice to use.

They serve a small selection of pastries, and also have a nice little jar of free cookies for your furry friends.

We have been in town for 2 weeks. We tried other coffee shops. This is our favourite by far. We’ve been there 3 times (so far). Excellent coffee, snacks, service and wifi. Lots of places to sit including in the windows overlooking the sidewalk traffic. Very inclusive and friendly. We would highly recommend supporting this local business.

They served the best Machado that I have ever had.

First time at Catapult Coffee and Studio. If you love local artisan coffee this is the place for you. The studio on the right features local hand made goods and to the left is the coffee shop where the culinary magic happens. The coffee shop offers soups and baked goods as well.

Visiting from the states and tried many of the coffee options around Saint John city proper. Catapult has been the best sit-in café experience for me. Wonderful coffee and sweets made by friendly people. The atmosphere is truly cozy and peaceful. I was only further impressed by the cause they support. Looking forward to my next visit(s) when I return to the city 🙂

Went with my wife and family. Anyone looking for the quintessential low-key, uptown Saint John coffeeshop experience is well advised to attend. They have three flavours of hot chocolate (including dark and Mexican), coffee, tea, and sundry baked goods. Plenty of seating is available across three rooms, helping the shop not feel too crowded. One of the best coffee shops in town. We were there once at the closing time, not realizing it, but the guy let us in and took our order! It was lovely, we really appreciated it.

Fabulous little coffee shop. Would have loved a few more sweets available, but selection is good enough as it is. Coffee though, was great. Had 3 roasts on rotation when I went there and the baristas were able to describe them well.

Had a medium roast, locally sourced. Good extraction on the shot, very nice flavors with a tiny hint of acidity, as expected from the grain. You can tell they know their products.

Will definitely return when i'm back in SJ :)
